Friday- Got off work 30 min early cuz i got to work 30 min early. Went with Sar to pick up Bollini's. We got the Cal Twist Pizza, Penne w/ Sausage and Peppers, and Spaghetti Dei Fruitti Di Mare. Fed Sar, her mom & dad, and me just perfect. Definately recommend this restaurant for great italian food in Monterey Park.
Saturday- Woke up early and basically circumferenced the entire SGV. Picked up Sar to go pick up a few items at Glendale Galleria, then over to The Papersource in Pasadena, then out to Puente Hills where we picked up our new queen-sized mattress from Sit-n-Sleep. They didn't give us our mattress free, but they did match a competitor's price :) . Then drove back down to the Montebello Petco to pick up food and treats for Charlie and to Tozai and Obachan's Kitchen for take-out food for us. Ended the night with rehearsal dinner invitations. They came out NICE! Pics to come.
Sunday- Woke up early to get my haircut and then off to Claremont for a Wedding shower Sar's Godparents threw for us. Small intimate family affair along with the bridal party. I can't believe what Sar's Godparents did for us. It was such an amazing party with plenty of food, entertainment, and chatting. I feel so loved!

40 Days until this blog begins to share my married life.
Crazy, isn't it?
Friday- Gift shopping with Sar at Macy's in Pasadena and then dinner at Island's.
Saturday- Woke up early to load up my prelude with my original parts so i could take it down to the mechanic to have them return my car to normal. Also took Sar to get her car smog tested and then shopping at Target. Grabbed a quick bite at In-n-Out and then made our way to her friend Jenn and Jason's wedding reception at the Barn Burner in Pasadena. Good food, good fun, and good dancing :)
Sunday- Woke up late and went with the parents to grab some lunch, then met up with Sar to pick up HoHo and her cousins to get one fitted for the ring bearer tux and the other for her flower girl dress. Lots of shopping and lots of fun craziness from those two adorable kids. Met up with J afterward at Cheesecake factory for a late dinner. Our waiter talked way too much and all we wanted was our food.

Oops... forgot to post yesterday. I guess this is what my blog has come down to; posts of my weekends.
Wednesday- Took the family with Sar and sis' bf in tow to try a chinese restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. Was an excuse to take out my family and also i failed to remember that day it was my dad's birthday. Happy belated, Dad!
Thursday- I told my dad "Happy Belated!" He didn't care =P
Friday- Went to dinner at Orchid Thai with Sar. The restaurant used to be off of Atlantic Blvd. in Monterey Park, but it closed due to a fire. It's now re-opened in Arcadia (between Duarte and Longden) and the food is still good. I had the Pad SeeEw and Sar had the Hainan Chicken Curry. We also gorged on popcorn chicken. Also made a trip out to get frozen yogurt.
Saturday- Lazed around the house all day while Sar went to a training. Also got my oil changed on the Prelude. Also found out the rear sway bar is tweaked because the frame is bending because it wasn't fixed correctly the first time. So now the bar is rubbing up against the shock assembly. Not good. Prelude is out of commission. Drove out to Newport to celebrate Kel's bday at Mastro's Ocean Club. Like Kel said in her own blog... Food wasn't bad, but the sides were excellent. Also dropped by to say hello to J since he was on the way home. Went to Peet's Coffee and Tea for drinks. Their Jasmine Lime Iced Cooler (seasonal item) was yum.
Sunday- Saw Resident Evil Extinction. Meh. I dunno if it's even worth renting unless you already saw the first two. They also alluded to a 4th installment. Had an early (4pm) dinner with Sar at Frisco's Carhop, a quick run to Michael's for wedding supplies, and then met with our Videographer. Then came back to Sar's house for some more Wedding stuff.
It's official. I am now stressed the fk out.

So this phone is supposed to be the iPhone's competition.
I dunno if you can beat touch screen and all the other functionalities of the iPhone, but after using the Upstage for a week, i can honestly say i will never care for an iPhone.
I've been reading reviews online about the Upstage and people are 50/50 on it. Some like it, some don't. While there are some features that i think could be improved on, i definately love this phone. Compared to the iPhone, it's SO MUCH SMALLER and as far as it being a music player, i LOVE IT... mainly due to the fact that i don't have to install any software to upload songs like the iPods do with iTunes. I can simply drag and drop mp3's to the microSD card. That's all i was looking for anyway. A bluetooth candybar phone with a decent camera. The music player is an extra bonus that just so happens to be a great iPod replacement.
I'm getting a jawbone from work tomorrow and plan on using it with this phone. I'll probably let you all know what i think of the "highest rated bluetooth headset. Ever."

Traffic was exceptionally bad this morning. What also didn't help was that i left the house 15 minutes late and i was out of gas, so in total i was about 30 min late getting on the freeway this morning.
Being stuck on the 5 frwy is no fun. Then being hit on the 5 frwy is even more not fun. Got the information of the guy in the beat to sh!t 1990 blue honda accord and decided he didn't scratch up the rear quarter panel and bumper enough to warrant dealing with insurance. Problem was he only had $14 on him. Followed him to an ATM and he pulled out $150 cash for me.
Apparently he was trying to merge onto the freeway right behind me, got a little too close and didn't see me because of glare and ended up scraping the passenger-side rear quarter panel... mostly around the wheel well and rear bumper.
I think it could be buffed out for the most part. Oh well... at least it wasn't the G.

Not because they go by so fast, but because i'm old and i think i have alzheimer's.
Friday- Had dinner (pizza) at Sar's parents house and visited Pinkberry in Pasadena with Sar's friend, Renee. Pinkberry's was ok... just over-hyped. Ce Fiore in J-Town is better.
Saturday- Woke up late (haven't slept-in in ages) and went to take Sar to get her oil changed. While that was being done, we went (back) to pasadena to pick up my wedding ring, then drove to Montebello Town Center to do some shopping, went to Costco to dump T-mobile to go with Sprint for our family plan and picked up the Samsung Upstage (nifty little phone)for myself and Sar with the Samsung M510, and then back to pick up Sar's car. Also took Sar's family out to Mimi's Cafe for dinner. Ended the night with lots of DDR on the Wii.
Sunday- Planned to go to Disneyland today. For whatever reason we've managed to go when Gay Days is in town. WTF? Two years ago we went on Oct. 1st (See entry for 10/3/05) and this year we get to the park and traffic is a biatch and there's more people than there are in the summer. Then we see a gang of people wearing red shirts. Dammit. Gay-Days. So far we've managed to go on the 8th and 10 annual Gay Days.
Happy Gay-Pride weekend and Disneyland!!!

Friday- Took the day off to go with Sar to get our marriage license. Holy crap. It's official. We're within the 2 month mark! The process went relatively quickly (10 minutes). Didn't really warrant the both of us taking a full day off, but we still enjoyed the day by finishing up errands and shopping for the wedding. Also celebrated Sar's sister's bday.
Saturday- Spent the morning filing and shredding paperwork that i needed to go through at home. Met up with Sar to head down to South Coast Plaza for shopping and for dinner at Maggiano's with Kel and Apes. I have a new found like for dessert wines.
Sunday- Dunno why, but most of Sunday escapes me. I know we ran some more errands for the wedding... and had dinner at Cafe Spot... oh well. Maybe it'll come to me later.

"Lower the car and it would add about 90% more vagina hitting your seats." -quoted from G35 forums
I love when comments like these come up on the forums. Because apparently lowering your car will get you girls. If this was the secret to getting women, i'd be a multi-billionaire selling this secret to match.com, eharmony, and all the other match-making websites out there.
