Thought this was funny...

Dear IT Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs
such as EPL 5.0, NBA 3.0 and ESPN 2.0.

And now. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate

Dear Desperate,

First keep in mind; Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try entering the command C: I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME! and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1. Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create Snoring Loudly. wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 6.9.

Good Luck,
IT Support

Weekend update

Friday - Left work late at 3pm and J aka "b1tch" (as the Ho so lovingly calls him) made me drive HIS car home in traffic. Btw: Thanks fvcker. Got to Sar's place to pick her up and headed out to the Glendale Todai for some all-you-can-eat sushi. Food sucked bad. Man, i've never in my life eaten at a Todai so bad. Don't go to the one in Glendale. Period. YUCK! Spent a little time at the galleria and called it a night.

Saturday - Bday lunch with Sar's cousin Megan at a sushi restaurant in West Covina. I forget the name, but it was pretty decent food for the price. Went to pick up a cell phone for Annie and then shopping at Santa Anita Mall where Sar picked up a pinstriped suit for interview/work purposes and i picked up a new pair of (much needed) New Balance bball shoes. Ate dinner there at The Great Steak and Potato Co. and called it a night.

Sunday - Watched "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" with Sar's Dad and Sis (Sar was MIA with SC friends). Typical W&G humor. Kinda boring in the beginning, but picked up half way. Good movie. Possible DVD buy. Dinner with Sar and b1tch at El Cholo in Pasadena where i ate and drank too much. Had a GREAT buzz going and finished it off with some free Coldstone's ice cream at Paseo Colorado. Word to the wise: DO NOT get Tangarine sorbet with the pineapple mix-in. BLEH. I think it had more to do with the pineapple being bad. Really bad. At least the girl was nice enough to give us another bowl... but by then the flavor was still stuck on our tongues. Oh yah, a little car trouble before heading to Coldstone's... as soon as B1tch took his car out of reverse, the gas pedal wouldn't engage. Push and no rev. Popped the hood and saw that the plastic grommet that attaches to the throttle wouldn't stick. Even with a good buzz going, i was able to some quick thinking and asked Sar for one of her hair ties. Presto! Temporary fix that got us ice cream and then home.

Today - Back to the 5am shi(f)t. At least today is the last day. Tomorrow i'm back to 7am-4pm.

Happy Halloween!!!

Mmmmm.... starbucks.

I can get used to a Carmel Macchiato this freaking early in the morning. Thanks to J for hookin' it up.

Yesterday wasn't too bad. Started off dead tired, but drank some Zipfizz and felt GREAT the rest of the day. Most likely because of the 833% Daily Value (DV) of Vitamin C and 125% DV of Vitamin B6 and 41,667% DV (yah that's right... Forty One Thousand Six Hundred and Sixty Seven) of Vitamin B12.

Didn't even feel sleepy after getting home and attempting to clean my room. I was up till about 10:30pm and crashed.

Think i'm gonna drink another zipfizz sometime today. Should help me out the rest of the day.

I GET TO SEE MY BABIE TODAY!!! I LOVE THE WEEKENDS!!!

My house isn't a library....

But if everyone else in the house is trying to get some sleep at 12:30am, you try not to talk on the phone so loudly... or how about at all?

Ok, so i may have been just a TAD cranky since i had a hard time falling asleep last nite. Mostly my fault since i came home and crashed from 6pm-9pm causing me to not be sleepy by 10pm. But i went into my sister's room twice to ask if she could quiet down. On the third visit... i just said STFU and hang up the damn phone.

She finally did and i was able to get peace and quiet.

Wake up call at 3:30am. I'm FAWKING TIRED AS FAWK SHIAT BALLS MOTHER TRUCKER.

Someone shoot me.

More 5 am shi(f)t

Today wasn't as bad. I slept pretty well last nite as my family managed to keep quiet long enough for me to fall into deep sleep. Woke up with my mom pulling at my toes... which frickin' hurt!

Expected traffic to be good (and it was) so i drove the G into work again. I FINALLY hit 1200 miles. Didn't punch it though, but did have some fun in first gear at the bottom of the structure... lets just say i left some tire marks on the concrete (tee hee!)

There is NO-ONE here at 5am. Well... save for onsey-twoseys. But does not warrant a tech being here at 5am. Basically nothing to do until 8ish. So i knocked out for a few minutes until Sar signed on to AIM.

J calls me at 7:30am for some help on a computer. Damn you for making me think this early in the AM. Google is your friend. Use it wisely.

On the bright side, everyone on this floor moved out, leaving behind all kinds of frozen food in the fridge. Anything that isn't expired or opened is fair game. I just enjoyed a nice fettuchini alfredo w/ chicken and broccoli. My "lunch" ad 8am.

Just waiting for the small hand to hit 2 and i'm out... like the bottom of the 9th for the Angels in the race for the pennant *flamesuit on*

After work

Was able to snap a few pics... not very happy with how they came out, but at least better than what i came up with this morning.

And just for reference... the best i could do this morning:

I really need to start using that tripod in dark lighting.

5am shi(f)t - Day Two

Gawd i hate this schedule! I thought i could actually benefit from it today, as the parking garage i park in has decent lighting and since it's this early in the morning, there aren't any cars around, making a good opportunity to take some pics of my G35c (since i STILL haven't taken any).

So i decide to take my G to work today (also because there's no traffic), and what happens? It FVCKING RAINS.

DAMMIT!!!

Then i get to work and i decide to go ahead and take pics anyway. After a few snaps i realize the lighting wasn't as great as i thought it was. Take the pics and come upstairs to load them and find out the pics i took are crap and blurry.

I need a new camera.

And i need to learn how to use photoshop.

5am sucks balls.

And there goes another weekend...

Friday - Traffic was bad as usual. Can't really get around it. The usual Friday traffic on the 405-605 commute. I think i actually avoided it after having work a little bit of OT. We were moving one of our departments so i was there to supervise the contractors disconnecting the computer equipment.

Went directly to Sar's house to have dinner with her family. Met up with HoHo and went to Petco with her dog JoJo (BHAHAHAHHA!!! HoHo and JoJo! I just realized. FOB.) to pick up some treats and a new leash for Charlie. Walked and played with the dogs and called it a night at 10pm.

Saturday - Woke up at 12pm to get ready for the SC vs. Washington house party at one of Sar's classmates house. Pretty boring game considering Washington got their @$$ handed to them. After too much junk food and a little alcohol (the first time i've had any since my bday at Orchid in K-town), we met up with Hollie to do some shopping at the Pasadena Target where we picked up a bunch of stuff for Christmas shoeboxes we're packing and sending to needy kids in other countries. We bought stuff like socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and few toys among other things. Then we went to Michaels to pick up a few items. I was looking for spraypaint to tint my sidemarkers for the G35c, but coudn't find any. Think i need to go buy it at a hobby store. But i did find this magnetic train made up of letters. I put together my name and Sar's name together and Sar thought it was cute, so i bought it. 99 cents each! Not bad. Went to Old Town Apple store to buy a Nano case for HoHo's little bro, but they were out. Headed to Paseo Colorado to pick up a gift from Sephora and then to Islands for grub. Called it a night at 11:30pm.

Sunday - Woke up super early (10am) and lounged around the house for a while before picking up Sar to return some items at Michael's. Ate lunch at Pat & Oscar's since i felt like i boycotted that place enough and headed back to my house to relax and for Sar to finish up some homework. Went to Sar's house for Albondigas dinner (YUM!) and called it a night at 8:30pm.

Today - Woke up at 3:30am to get to work by 5am, which is why i went home so early last nite and blogging this early in the morning. Damn i hate my work schedule.

I need to update more often

So Kel, i stole your commenting provider... just like i did with blogback. Hope you don't mind =P Also, you're hardly ever on AIM anymore, so we need to meet up so i can check out your new place.

Sar and I celebrated our 2 year - 9 month anniversary over the weekend (the acutal day was last wednesday: 10/12). I wanted to take her out to Louise's Trattoria in Pasadena as that's where we went for our first Anniversary dinner. Turns out she felt like sushi (when she normally doesn't eat sushi) so we ended up eating at Kabuki just down the street. The decor is a lil modern and not japanese. But then again, the waitresses weren't either. The food was good though. They have 1/2 price sushi if you order a dinner entree. She had chicken teriyaki and i had chicken teriyaki with tempura. On the side we ordered California roll, Spicy Tuna, and a Philadelphia roll. All of which was very yummy! Especially after using a buy one dinner, get one free coupon Sar had from her entertainment book. Yay for saving money!

On Sunday Sar, Ho, and i went to the yearly pumpkin patch thing that's by Cal Poly Pomona with Ho's 4 and 3 yr old cousins. We were able to pick out two pumpkins, have each of the kids ride ponies, and took tons of pics and videos. For dinner, we were starving, and Ho's uncle Stuart recommended "Paco's Tacos" in Monterey Park. Ok. This place is my new favorite taco shack. SOOOO GOOD!!! After dinner we spent some more time with the kids at Auntie and Uncle's house.

That's pretty much it for the weekend. Back to my regular 7am-4pm work schedule (which sucks btw).

On a bit of sad news, Ho's uncle Stuart was diagnosed with cancer. We all hope things will turn out well and that the chemo will work. All our prayers go out to him and his family.

In attempts to salvage this post with a lighter note, my G35c just turned 1000 (miles) over the weekend! I'm only 200 miles away from official break-in for the tranny and engine. Can't wait to punch it in that bad-boy. *grin*

Playing Catch-up

The weekends tend to blur together. I hardly remember what went down the day after it happens. But i'll try my best.

So Sar finally got her bike, dubbed "THE BIKE FROM HELL"

The bike was originally ordered from Sanrio.com and when it was delivered, the box was beat up and the bike had scratches and dents. Luckily i was able to get my money back. Then i was able to find one at the Sanrio store in South Coast Plaza. It was in good condition and was cheaper than what the website charged. Then came the problem of getting it back. I had my coworker strap the bike on top of his Chevy Suburban with bungee cords. We couldn't put it inside since he had it tricked out with custom audio equipment. It made it to the office safely, but we didn't have a car big enough to take it all the way back home. So for the time being, i strapped the bike with a cable lock to a laptop... and then the laptop to the table. Ghetto... i know. Then about 10pm, Jason and myself drove back to work to pick up the bike to bring it home. It may not sound like that big of a deal, but i'm just too lazy to type out all the details. The important part is... the bike is now with Sar.

Saturday was spent at Disneyland with Sara. We've gone every year we've been together. Could possibly become a tradition? The day went well save for GAY DAYS. The day started off without a lot of people. Then all of a sudden we saw all these people with RED shirts. At first i thought it was some kind of family reunion, but i thought there was something odd about them. Then i saw the shirt:

Yah. That added a billion+1 people to the day. The lines were pretty long, but we still managed to have a good time. The fireworks were the highlight of the night.

Oh... and what the hell is up with THIS fashion? Gayest look EVAR. I can't stand it. Some asian dude was in line with us at Peter Pan. Everytime we passed by, i wanted to flip his collar back for him. It seriously bothers me to no end. Can someone explain this to me?????

But i think that's pretty much it for the weekend. Until next weekend... i hope.
