Oh and i forgot that it was also Charlie's birthday on Monday. We share the same birthday since that was the day he came back with us to be a part of our family, not to mention we don't know his real one. So we share :)

So i'm walking back from another user's desk and one of the company trainers stops me and says, "I sent (the office maintenance mgr) an email half an hour ago and he said he never got it." I walk into her office and hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to unlock her PC. I have her type in her password and then the screen comes up with the email in question on her screen.
what is your weirdest obsesson? Lingerie. It's like gift wrap. Presents always look better in gift wrap and are more exciting to open ;)
Starbucks or Peet's? I'm not a coffee person, but every time i go to Starbucks, i get a Green Tea Lemonade. I've only been to Peet's once.

So after a week of being on call and escaping from actually coming down to LA, they call me in on a FRIDAY. Grr. Not only is it friday, i have to get my ass down to the Disney Concert hall by 7:30 to park and walk the 3 blocks to the courthouse. Now... 3 blocks isn't long, but when it's pouring... it kinda is.
Just found out they offer free wifi now (w00t!), but facebook, youtube, anything dealing with games, is blocked (BOO!).
So this dimwit (DW) admin calls and says her mouse doesn't move
DW: i need a new mouse Me: can you use the start button on your keyboard? DW: no Me: Your PC froze, hold the power button on the PC for 5 seconds to shut it down DW: but i can't... the mouse won't move Me: no no, the power button DW: oh ok.......................um, it's not doing anything Me: the power button? DW: yah, the button on the keyboard, right? Me: no DW: the monitor? Me: no DW: OH you mean the thing by my feet? Me: yes DW: ok it went black Me: ok, push it again DW: (after powering it on and logging in) ok mouse works!
You know.... i know if it wasn't for people like them, i wouldn't have have a job.
Started to watch the first season and i'm 3 episodes into it and seems fairly interesting. Not sure how historically accurate everything is, but as far as TV shows go, it's entertainment and not a history lesson, so i'll continue to watch.
Sex, scandal, lies, betrayal. Not bad so far.

So i'm tired for OBVIOUS (read: Mockingbird) reasons + it was my turn to drive to work today. I pulled into my office lot and attempted to park in my usual spot, except this time i took the turn a bit wide and before i knew it, i had bumped the rear bumper of another car. First thought in my head:
SHIT.
My sister looked visibly stunned/freaked out.
Me: Oops. Did i scratch it? Sis: Uh... YAH. Me: Is it bad? Sis: Uhhhhh....
I take a look and there's two white streaks on the rear corner of her bumper and then i look at my front bumper and found two green streaks. Started rubbing her car and most of it rubbed off.
I was super embarrassed, but owned up to it by going to the owner of the car (i knew who the car belonged to) and let her know. She was actually really nice about it and didn't even care, but i made her come out to look at it with me and she kept saying i was being silly and not to worry about it. I promised to bring scratch remover and polish to buff it out for her and she was fine with it.
I've bumped a car before and i didn't say anything. Karma paid me back by allowing some douchebag to rear end my G. So this time, i intended to come clean. *Knock on wood*

No, i'm not talking about the Pulitzer prize winner by Harper Lee. I'm talking about the damn mockingbird that continues to sing at all hours of the night. I'm at the point where i want to take my BB gun to it, but i just found out i can't because of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. Apparently i can't even throw anything at it... which admittedly, i have. I just have really bad aim =P
DAMMIT.
At least this picture makes me feel a little better. Just a little.
