PS3, Wiimote, two Wii Classic controllers, a Wiimote 4-slot charge station, the Nerf N-Strike gun i wanted, a Hidden Mickey book, Craftsman tools, a Black & Decker Battery powered screwdriver, various gift cards for ticketmaster, movies, and food, Pictionary-Man, a Kingston 2GB microSD card two pack, car air freshener + refills from Japan, and other miscellaneous stuff for both Sara and I to share (yah right).
Not too shabby this year. Most surprised about my PS3. Sara got that for me. Such an awesome gift from an even more awesome wife :)
Also did some after Christmas Sales shopping. Picked up a Guitar Hero guitar, GTA:IV and a 2nd Dualshock 3 controller for PS3.
Now i need to (but shouldn't) spend asstons of money on stuff for the PS3 (HDMI cables, games, accessories, etc.).

So last night HoHo and J came over for a pre-Christmas dinner and Birthday. Happy Birthday, Loser! Was nice spending time together like old times... even if it was only for a few hours. Sara made a super yum loin roast, HoHo made a shepherd's pie which was really good, and J made bacon wrapped asparagus, and i..... ate :) Did a bit of gift exchanging and HoHo got me my Nerf blaster! Awesome! Now i need another one. She also got me a book about Hidden Mickeys that can be found in and around Disneyland. Now i have to dedicate a whole day just to find them all because i'm neurotic like that. Played some Wii to test out my Nerf blaster and realized i'm even fatter after a month of not jumping on the Wii Fit :( Must. Stop. Eating. Need. More. Exercise. NOW.

Blog worthy posts are becoming scarce as life tends to blur when things get all hectic, exciting, and mundane at the same time.
12/12/08 - 12/14/08 -Friday- Sara and I met up with my guys (Elg, Sunny, Pooks, and respective SO's and friends) at Macaroni Grill for dinner and discussions of our weekend trip up to Big Bear/Snow Summit for a day of snowboarding. And just like old times, meeting up was fairly pointless as all we got out of it was establishing where and what time we were meeting up and payment to the trip planner :p
-Saturday- Dropped the dog off at the parents house and headed over to Sunny's house to load up the cars, to Carrow's for breakfast, and then the 2.5 hour drive up. Longest drive EVAR. Got a bit dizzy on the way up with all the twists and turns. When we got to the cabin we got comfy and just hung out for the rest of the day. Also started snowing around 8pm. Had never seen snow actually fall. Was pretty neat, just cold. Also got to drive Sara's car in the snow. Slippitty fun =P. Ended the night with Dominoes Pizza, chicken wings, soda, chips and rounds of Guitar Hero, Scattergories, and Taboo.
-Sunday- Hadn't been snowboarding for at least 3 years. I forgot how painful it could be. Definitely need to go up more for practice, but is also very expensive. And the rental gear always sucks. I think i'll rent some better quality gear next time. I think they rent at Sport Chalet. After i had my fill, came back down and packed up our stuff and headed down the mountain around 4pm. The rest of the group stayed until Monday. Lucky for us we left with no snow. Unlucky for the rest of them since they wanted to leave Monday morning, but ended up staying until Tuesday because of the 2ft of snow that came down Sunday night/Monday morning.
12/19/08 - 12/21/08 -Friday- Disneyland! Just watched the Christmas Parade, Pirates of the Caribbean, and dinner at Storyteller's Cafe.
-Saturday- Sara's Dad went with us to get our Christmas tree. We got a nice 7ft tree. We decked it out in red and silver ornaments this year. Gotta go find a star. Also did some shopping at Trader Joe's and stopped by Costco where we found a really cool Disney pet bed for Charlie. Merry Christmas, Charlie! For dinner, Sara made a yummy turkey drumstick dinner with cornbread stuffing and cranberry sauce. Ended the night decorating the tree.
-Sunday- Church and then Doublez sausage breakfast burrito and fries. 3pm drove up to Irv and Esther's house for a holiday get together. Gorged on a bunch of food and met Kayla, a Golden retriver/Husky mix that belonged to one of Esther's sisters. Beautiful dog and well behaved too. Looked like Charlie and Kayla could've made pretty cute puppies together, but alas they are both fixed. =P

I had a similar pair when i was in High School. It was my first pair of Oakley sunglasses and are also my favorite. Too bad one of my friends decided to use my backpack as a pillow on the beach while they were in the pocket :(
Been wanting a pair... just dunno if i can justify the cost as they cost $45 back in 1998 :p

I make one of these every year... but i never get a single item from the list. But then again, most of the things i ask for is either too expensive or next to impossible to get. So here goes a list that's a bit more realistic:
1.) NERF N-Strike Switch Shot EX-3 for Nintendo Wii
I've always wanted a NERF gun, and this would be awesome since it has a dual purpose
2.) Wiimote
3.) Sandisk or Kingston 2GB microSD card. Must be 2GB to work in my Wii :)
4.) A folding table to use as a work bench for my growing collection of computers and their parts.
Oh and a PS3. Gotta put something in there i know i'm not gonna get, right?
And last, but not least: for Sara to keep her job. She asked Santa for this in her blog and i would trade in everything in hopes that it would help this wish come true. Everyone's going through tough times with the economy as it is right now.

I'm really terrible in the romance department. It's not that i'm not romantic... as i've planned surprises and done sappy things for her in the past... but as Sara told me, i've just become comfortable. I call it my stupidity.
Even still, i love my wife. She is my best friend, my soul mate, my everything. I don't know what i'd do, or where i'd be without her and i truly cherish every day that i can call her mine.
Sara, i know i suck. But you know i love you.
Happy 1 year anniversary :)
