So ever since coming home last night, my throat started bothering me. I took some Nyquil around 7pm and by 9pm i was pretty much sleep walking. While Sar was watching Desperate Housewives, i realized the trash had not been taken out yet, so i let her know i was going to take it out. After doing so, i went straight to the shower and after i finished went straight to bed. I dunno how long i was out, but i heard Sar calling me in a worried tone until she found me asleep in bed. She thought i got kidnapped or something since she didn't hear me come back in after taking out the trash. Through the night, i woke up several times gagging with all the phlem lodged and not being able to breathe. Woke up this morning and felt like complete sh*t. I am working from home today, but i've been like a zombie the whole day. I ended up taking some Robitussin and somehow knocked out on the couch for a couple hours. My throat is still scratchy and i haven't eaten much other than water, a muffin, and some wheat thins.
7:30am - Up to pack up all my shat and check out of the hotel 8:00am - Studying in the classroom. No breakfast as i'm too nervous and don't want to puke 10:00am - TAKE TEST!!! 11:20am - PASS TEST!!!!! 905/1000 :) 12:00pm - Lunch is served and it's grilled chicken -_- and rice 12:30pm - Decide to drive up to San Francisco and check out Fisherman's Warf. I got a recommendation to try the clam chowder at 9 Fisherman's Grotto. Wasn't bad. I also opted to try the whole crab. Not bad. Pretty tasty. Along with a bottle of snapple iced tea, it cost me $18. I ended up sitting across the street at this random concrete block. A few people were already there along with (i kid you not) 30ish pigeons and 2 seagulls. These birds weren't shy either. While eating, i almost got knocked in the head several times by pigeons doing flybys and one of the seagulls got brave enough/close enough to grab my trash tray and make everything in it go flying. Damn birds. They weren't even scared of my hand shooing them away. I ended up using my snapple bottle to fend them off. After i finished i walked two doors over to Nick's Lighthouse to try their fried shrimp. No recommendations to eat here, but it was close so i tried it. Put it this way... won't be trying it again. The shrimp i got was cold and the fries that came with it were cold and stale. I ended up just eating the shrimp and tossing the fries. What a waste of $8.95. Sufficiently full, i walked around a bit and checked out some of the shops along the street and watched a baker inside Boudin's making sourdough bears and turtles. Also walked over to the wax museum where i saw Yao Ming, Tiger Woods, Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and President Bush as wax figures. After walking around, i decided to drive around Chinatown to see the differences between SF C-town and LA C-town. My result: Nothing. SF C-town is exactly the same... just more hilly. After almost creaming a elderly Chinese lady walking across the street on my green light, i made my way back to the airport. 3:30pm - Thought there might be traffic, but made it early to the airport and waited around until my 5:30pm boarding time and 6:00pm flight. 7:00pm - Made it back to LAX early due to some speedy flying by the pilot. Flying Virgin America wasn't too bad. Their seats are fairly comfy and each seat gets their own touch-screen TV filled with stuff to do, although i ended up pulling out my laptop to watch some downloaded comedy vids of Jeff Dunham. 8:00pm - Sar picks me up. Hugs and Kisses and off to Foo Foo Tei for ramen dinner.
So i'm finally back at home and boy does it feel good. Home sweet home. Back with my wife and dog. I missed them both :)

7:40am - Dragged myself out of bed since falling asleep at 1am due to studying 8:30am - Get to Conference Center and study a bit. Again breakfast of banana and apple juice 9:00am - Class starts 12:00pm - Lunch today was meh. Mixed green salad with "citrus vinaigrette", Some kinda chicken enchilada casserole, and Spanish rice. Dessert was a chocolate cake which i didn't have. 1:00pm - Back to lecture 4:00pm - Instructor gave us an application that ran a mock test. Was a bit tricky, but i managed to pass. 5:45pm - Back at hotel and installed the same app on my own laptop and took the test again. Got half way through(55/100 questions) and got really hungry. 7:00p - Back to Higuma Japanese restaurant (Told you i liked it :p ). This time ordered a crap load of food since i knew this was going to be the last time i was gonna eat here while here in San Carlos, so i decided to try their Tempura & Beef Teriyaki Combination with Rice, Miso soup, and salad, and ordered a Caterpillar Roll (Basically a Unagi roll topped with avocado) and a Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll. All of it was awesome. The shrimp in the tempura was perfectly cooked and the batter was light and airy. The downside was that their Teriyaki Beef was only decent. All in all still great food. Service is somewhat lacking... but the food more than makes up for it. 8:00pm - Back at the hotel and finished up the mock test. Passed again with a better score... mainly cuz i already knew most of the answers. Still effective though as now i know what answers to look for when a questions is phrased a certain way. 9:00pm - I finish this post while i'm chatting over AIM with Sar and i should start studying soon. First exam is at 1pm tomorrow 0_0 Wish me luck!

Also ordered the lettuce wraps. BB had a Hawaiian pizza and a Virgin (Kekeke) Strawberry Colada. 8:45pm - Dropped BB back off at his house and headed back for the hotel 9:00pm - Start studying 10:13pm - The time right now as i'm typing this... and i'll be taking a shower soon and heading for bed to say g'nite to my wife :)

Took Sar to Roy's for a Tuesday night birthday dinner. Super awesomely delicious food.
We started off with the Roy's Canoe Appetizer for Two. Spicy! Watch out for you non spicy food eaters :) The Poke was awesome along with the Tiger Shrimp, but the Lobster Potstickers were the best. Definitely getting that next time. The menu listed Panko Spicy Tuna Roll, but our server informed us that it was changed to Salmon. Still good, but not exactly authentic sushi with the rice they used.
For our entrees, Sar had the Hawaiian Style Misoyaki Butterfish. Sar let me try some and that was some damn-good Butterfish. For myself, i chose the Pork Porterhouse. OMG that was the best pork chop i've ever had. SUPER meat-flaking-off-with-a-fork tender and juicy.
And you can't go to Roy's without ordering their Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle. That's the ONLY chocolate cake i will order and willingly eat myself. SO EFFING GOOD!
Sorry no pics as we forgot our camera. But here's the menu for the Pasadena location if interested: Roy's - Pasadena Menu

-Friday- Traffic sucked BALLS, i was starving, i needed to pee, and i couldn't use the carpool lane because my sister went home early (her bf picked her up) because she was feeling sick. Sar got home late as well and didn't make dinner, so that made me even more grumpy, so we left to eat at Ai, which is a japanese restaurant in Pasadena. Food was ok, but realized we should've just picked up McDonald's as we were VERY late to the Tony Bennett concert that we bought tickets for at the Greek. Traffic going up to the Greek was even worse... not on the freeway... but just going through the neighborhood. Worst traffic ever. Finally get to the venue, when we see a HUGE line for will-call tickets. By the time we got our tickets, we were already 45 minutes late. We were still able to see about an hours worth, but will remember to pay for the option to print tickets at home.
-Saturday- Early rise to head on to Pasadena to buy Sar's new MacBook Pro. After spending a ton of money, headed over to costco and ralphs for some last minute grocery shopping. Cleaned the house and at 5pm is when people started showing up for a small gathering to watch the SC vs Ohio State game and to wish Sar a early 25th.
-Sunday- Lazyness ensues and we end up watching the next movie in Sar's netflix queue; "Glitter". Wasn't as bad as i expected... but it wasn't really good either :p Drove to Sar's friend K's house in Westminster to drive out to Irvine for dinner at The Counter. After stuffing our faces, K let me take an extended test drive in her IS250 with the steering wheel paddles. Kinda fun, but not really sporty. Not a bad little car. Comfy and somewhat makes me wish i waited for the IS350 instead of buying the G35. Maybe Sar will get one :p
-Monday- Work from home as usual. Nothing going on really other than just staring at the monitor. Dinner with my family tonight and taking Sar out to dinner at Roy's tomorrow night.

Well, not exactly. I'm flying up to SF for Vista training/certs from the 21st until the 26th (all on the company dime!). Already have plans to meet up with Bubble-Boy for dinner and maybe just a tiny bit of sight-seeing. I've only been up to SF once and that was also for work and was only there for a grand total of 8 hours. 2 of which were spent at the airport, 4 at the jobsite, 1 at Red Brick Pizza (of all places to eat), and 1 was sleeping through traffic while my coworker fought through it. I didn't see much :P

Yep. Just me n the dog. Sar's up in SF visiting her cousin that's here for a few weeks from Japan studying English. It's too bad i couldn't go up with. I have to stay behind to take care of our child. This will be the first time that we'll be apart for more than a day since we were married. My heart is a little sad that she's not here, but i know she'll be back Sunday night and i'll be waiting with hugs and kisses.
Miss you, babie. Hope you have fun :)

So far both Castlevania games that have come out for the DS(Dawn of Sorrow & Portrait of Ruin) have been very very good. I'm definitely going to pick this up once it hits store shelves on the 15th of this month.
EDIT: 10/21/08 is the real date. Must've been an old release date i read somewhere :(

-Friday- Had an impromptu BBQ with one of Sar's coworkers and her coworker's family. BBQ sirloin, Shrimp skewers, sausages, and bacon wrapped asparagus. Complimented by beer and smores to cap the night.
-Saturday- Bummed it for most of the day and headed to the mall around 4 to do some last minute bday shopping and finally got the watch battery on my Seiko replaced. Headed to Life on Wilshire for Sar's friend Ser's birthday gathering. Finished dinner there where the DJ was uber lame, then headed to S-Bar in K-town for some karaoke.
-Sunday- Met up with my Preludeonline.com friends for lunch at Yardhouse in Pasadena. One of the members from Connecticut was in town for a wedding so we used it as an excuse to meet up. Met up with the sib and her bf and took us all out to Gardena for some yummy Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori and then fro-yo at Nubi in San Gabriel. Finished off the night with a round of Disney Scene It and Scrabble (I got 1st on Disney and 3rd on Scrabble)
-Labor Day- NO WORK! W00t! Early shopping at Ikea for Sar's Birthday gift of a desk chair to match her new desk. BBQ at Sar's Dad's house. J stopped by (which is rare now-a-days).
-Tuesday- Woke up at 7am. Found dog just chillin'. Clocked in and checked my email. Nothing going on. Went back to sleep till 8:30am and kept an eye on work while i kept my other eye on my game of Crysis. Waited for Sar to come home and headed out to Costco and Ralph's for some shopping. Picked up dinner from Saga Japanese Cuisine. We didn't actually look at the Yelp review before trying it, but it turned out to be pretty good... especially for MPK. Finished eating and took Sar's car to get gas and walked the dog while she watched the new 90210 show and i continued my game of Crysis
-Wednesday (Today)- BACK TO WORK! And blogstalking Kel's new blog. MUAHAHAHHA... i can see your new layout before everyone else >=)
