-Thursday- Charlie finally graduated from his 8-week PetSmart training. There were about 10 dogs that were registered for the class and on the last day, we were supposed to have a "final exam" of sorts. I guess that scared everyone off since only 3 dogs showed up =P
The exam consisted of the dog and the owner going through a gauntlet of commands using only hand signals and only 1 voice command. And it was also timed (EEK!). Charlie and i went first and we did pretty good despite the fact that Charlie wasn't completely calm before attempting, which caused me to continually pull him back to look him in the eye just to get his attention. The two other dogs went after and Charlie ended up 2nd after "Gadget" the Pomeranian (1st) and "Lucky" the Yellow Lab (3rd). All in all, the class has helped tremendously in Charlie's behavior (aside from obeying more commands). He's a lot more calm and more social with people. Now it's just the other dogs we need to work on.
-Friday- I can't remember what we did on Friday. I just remember it took FOREVER to get back home due to the freeways being that much worse. I even left work a early! Oh yah, came home and dropped off the Honda at Costco to get a screw out of one of the tires while Sar and i had dinner at Souplantation (YUM... it's Mexican this month- Albondigas and taco salad FTW!), picked up a few things at JoAnn's, and a few items from Costco.
-Saturday- Woke up late and setup my new game rig. Started playing Crysis and then headed over to Chinatown to visit my grandmother and had some lunch. Came back and played some more Crysis and finally sat down and watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (Yes, i've had it since it released on DVD and have just now watched it.
-Sunday- Woke up late (again) and did some light cleaning before Sar's cousin + friend and Sar's Sis + BF came over for "Game Night". We ordered a couple pizza's from Costco, warmed up some BBQ wings, and proceeded to play Disney's Scene It and some Wii games. Cousin + Friend left early but Sis and BF stayed behind to continue with the Wii and then watched the Olympic Closing Ceremonies. Can't say it was as epic as the opening ceremonies, but i can't seem to get that damn "Wo Ai Beijing" song out of my head (GAHHH!).
-Monday- Was supposed to work from home. Yah... woke up late AGAIN... and ran some errands to the post office, bank, and AAA to renew the registration on the G35. Gave the dog a bath and lazed around until Sar came home from work. More house stuffs (laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc.).
I guess you can say i've decided to "cheer up" my site in terms of color. I know, i know... not like it's a HUGE change since all i did was swap colors with the text and background, but i think it gives it a bit of a new feel.
I'm still indecisive on a theme. I did want to make a Nintendo "Mii" theme to it, but my HTML coding sucks balls and CSS pwns HTML anyway... not that i know how to do CSS, but i'm sure i could if i tired.
Ah well. This is what the update will be until i get some kind of motivation to try

I gave Johnny a call to wish him another year on his birthday and made loose plans to do something. So yesterday he gives me a call and decided to have a BBQ at my place and maybe play some cards with the guys. Most couldn't make it out due to various prior engagements so it was just me, the wifey, Johnny, and Pooky. We grilled up a flank steak, a nice sirloin that they brought, corn on the cop coB (TY-Sar), and bacon wrapped asparagus. My BBQ skillz are getting better each time i decide to grill. The last time, my steak came out medium well with a hint of done. This time i timed everything right and i got a nice medium/medium rare. After years of eating my mom's burned steaks (from her fear of salmonella) i can finally have my steaks the way i want them; nice and pink.
After the food, we played some Wii while talking shit to each other. Like old times :)
I'm about to head out to Universal City to catch the 1:20pm showing of The Dark Knight in IMAX with Johnny. Can't wait!
