Married life, Holidays, and double-duty for family
Apologies for the lack of updates to all 7 of my readers. Honestly... who still reads this out-dated blog of mine? Sar? Kel? Ho? Bubble? Apes? Elg? Irv?
Anyways, i don't know what all you non-married people think of married life. I sure didn't know what i was getting into before i got hitched. To be quite honest, not much has changed, other than the fact that we now live together and sleep in the same bed. Thank God for that considering how difficult it was to have the phone plugged in my ear for 5-6 hours while sleeping (Tmobile/Sprint must be rejoicing). Now the snoring is in stereo :)
Most people following the saying, "Change is good." I would generally agree with that statement, but as far as my love for Sar goes, no change is best. We're still laughing together, learning new things about each other, and still loving each other. That's important.
Don't worry people. It's not like we're 100% compatible when living together. We're still working some kinks out, but so far it's been a fun-filled adventure full of laughs.
Life is good.
Oh... forgot about my title. Merry Christmas everyone! I'm off by 2 days this year. Like i said, pulling double duty for family gatherings/holidays is pretty tough. Thanksgiving and Christmas is spent with Sar's extended family/friends. New Years is spent with the in-laws as New Years is apparently a big thing for the Japanese culture, and then Chinese New Year is coming up and that's a HUGE thing for my side of the family (I wonder if i'll get lucky red envelopes this year?). That's not to say one holiday/event out-weighs the other for one family. We still have to make the effort to visit both. So far we're doing ok, but it's only been 3.5 weeks.
Ok, so after all this typing my mind has drawn a blank. More later. Maybe.

Only 2 hours before we were to start our drive to LAX, i start feeling nauseated and get sharp pains to my abdomen. To spare the nasty details, fast forward 6 hours later and i'm in the ER at Garfield hospital being treated for a nasty stomach virus.
No honeymooning in Hawaii, folks :(
I feel horrible about it and i dunno how to make it up to my beautiful new wife. For now i'm just resting and we're going to see about rescheduling for later next year.
