Wow... 2nd weekend update in a row! Could i be back to regular blogging!? We shall see...
Friday- Rushed home to pick up Sar and then drove over to the rental house, henceforth referred to as "the Pad", to meet the landlady (Kat) who flew out from New York. Kat turned out to be super cool and took us out for dinner at Paul's Kitchen. Let's just say i'd rather eat a Panda Express. We chatted for a good 5 hours and at some point signed the lease. Yay we have a place to live!!!
Saturday- Spent most of the day at Sar's just doing random things and then went to Trader Joes for some shopping before heading out to Serena's place in K-town to watch the Trojans stomp on the Cougs.
Sunday- Hosted an invitation stuffing party/sweatshop for J and HoHo. We served snacky foods from Trader Joe's: assorted mini quiche, mini chicken tacos, crabcakes, and broccoli, tomato, and pesto pizza. Everything was pretty good except for the pizza. In the end, we finish ALL the invitations! YAY! Well... boo for not having an addressed envelope for HoHo. Then at 3pm me, Sar, her mom and dad went to Sar's aunt and uncle's house for some "Couple's Shower" party planning and dinner. Stuffed ourselves with mexican macaroni, pork and beans, deli sandwiches, and pie. Came home to feed a very hungry dog and called it a night.

Yesterday i went to one of our remote sites in Pasadena to setup some new computers. I got there at 9am and we finished by 12pm. I was home by 1pm. Boss doesn't want me to go back to the office cuz it's pointless. By the time i get back to the office from pasadena, it's time to go home.
Today was employee recognition day at Angel's Stadium. I got to work by 8am. Went with my boss and coworkers to the game at 10:30am for catered lunch. Ate and then left. We didn't even stay for the game. She just dropped us back off at work and told us to go home.

Friday - Met up with Sar and her coworkers at Gloria's Cocina for her birthday/happy hour. Gloria's is a mexican restaurant in Downey. Google it and you'll find directions. I didn't get to order since i got there late, but Sar had saved some of her food for me. It was cold, but wasn't bad. Hung out for a bit and then headed back home and just hung out for a bit.
Saturday - Woke up early to help Sar clean/organize her classroom. Went and got my tux picked out. Picked up sushi for Tozai market for a late afternoon lunch. Watched the first half of the USC game while working on the wedding invites and then headed down to meet up with Jason to eat at The Carvery (Lawry's) at South Coast Plaza. (We had a $50 gift certificate).
Sunday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAR!!! We had brunch at Luminaria's in Monterey Park. VERY good food, huge selection, and great price! Although they did seat us at a VERY cramped table for 8 at first, we asked if we could be moved to a bigger table and eventually found one for us. Other that that little blemish, everything was very good. Definately going back there again... but maybe not for a while. After stuffing ourselves full, we headed back to Sar's house where i napped for about an hour and then started helping Sar with the wedding invitations. We're almost done!!!
