Ended the league 3-4. Saturday's (11/16) game in Industry and today's (11/17) game in Chinatown; two wins in a row baby!!! The game on Saturday was pretty chill... but today's game was hard fought. Came down to a free-throw contest (where no one made free throws =P) and when there was literally TWO seconds left on the clock and 29-31 on the scoreboard (we're losing), Sunny grabs the rebound, puts it up, and wins the game 32-31. Sunny is named MVP. Shameless plug: I scored 2 pts! Woohoo! I contributed!
I finally got another mod(ification) for my car. I bought an AEM Cold Air Intake (finally) and took me 5 hours to install (it normally takes less than 1 hour). Why? Cuz i don't read instructions =P Oh well... it's in and it's fun. Adds some horsepower and makes the cool "VROOOM!" noise. =)
Midterm and notebook entries due on Tuesday. I haven't even started studying and out of 19 entries, i have three done. Shit. =P
I'm still alive! Turned in my paper... did not listen to a single word the professor said in class today, but instead doodled in my notebook, and came home. =)

ICS52 - Software Engineering is gonna kill me. I can already feel another all-nighter tomorrow nite/tonite =( The worst part is that in all the years i've been in school (Preschool -> Present), i've probably only had at most 3 all-nighters. Cool huh? Yes and no... yes, cuz i've managed to not have to stay up all nite doing hw all the time. No, cuz i'm not used to it, so i'm gonna die. *sigh*..........BLAH!

It always rains on the worst days. I was really looking forward to playing Taco Mambo with the current Schurr H.S. marching band along with older alumni dating back to c/o '88 (from what i saw). This whole event was planned as a 20th Anniversary of teaching Surprise for Mr.N (my old band director). We were all gonna play at the football game, but the rain got pretty heavy so Mr.N decided not to go and just hold a practice with his current ensemble in the auditorium. We were supposed to surprise him at the football game, but instead crashed the practice. It was pretty cool as we got to listen to the current band play and also heard Mr.N play 3 pieces he composed himself on the piano. All in all it was a really cool nite for a celebration... even with the rain.

Before tonight, we used to stop by the Hustler Store everytime we went to Hollywood to hang out. Needless to say, we didn't go tonight. Nuts.
I woke up late this morning for my weekly basketball game. Had to rush over myself after stuffing two BBQ Pork Buns (Char Siu Bao) down my throat. How did we do? Don't ask...
Met up with the guys (John, Pooks, and Sunny) around 5pm to eat out at Farmer Boys. John wanted to buy something at Urban Outfitters so we went to the one out on Melrose. After looking around, me and Pooky had to go pee... so we ran over to Johnny Rockets to use their restroom. Turns out we needed to be customers, so Pooky asked one of the workers on break outside if we could use it. She wouldn't hook it up, but instead had us do the "Pee-pee dance" before she would give us a token for the bathroom. After about 10 minutes of not giving in, Pooky couldn't hold it so he did the dance and got the coin. =P Hahhaha.. thanks Pooks. You humiliated yourself so i could use the bathroom too. I owe you one.
After that "ordeal", we decided to check out The Grove. Pook said he knew how to get there so i had him direct me. Psh... we ended up in Westwood Village by UCLA. Last time i trust Pook. After circling the block 7 times withought any luck to try to find parking for Didi Reese Cookies, we left and decided to head home. After driving for a bit we ended up in front of LACMA and i remembered it as a land-mark for going to the Grove. FAIRFAX! Woohoo... made a few turns and we're there. Bought a shirt at the Quiksilver store. Damn. Spending money again. I think i developed an addiction to that store. =X
Spent the rest of the night at John's house building his Tamiya Subaru Impreza STi model. Granted the one i put together doesn't look as nice as the link shows... i think i did an ok job. =P
Pretty long day, but it was fun... i'm not driving next time. Seriously... how can we possibly be comfortable in my car???
