5th year at UCI and i still have no clue why we start school on a Friday. I just take it as a day to go to a few classes, get back into the swing of a school-schedule and have the weekend to recover from having to wake up early =P
I only had a one-hour lecture at 11am yesterday, ICS 131 and a one hour discussion for it right afterwards. Kinda cool cuz i saw a lot of people i knew in there: Michelle, Peter (the jerk), Jordan from summer español , and Eugene. I dunno how many of us are gonna be staying in that class though. There's only room for 100 students and there were over 120 in there. If i can't add this class, i can try to fall back on the Tues/Thurs offering, but i'm still unsure. Waitlists don't matter anymore for some reason =\
Turns out there's already homework due on monday. Blah. I had to print an article from the computer lab and then buy the book to do the homework. When i finally got around to buying the book, the bookstore had ran out and wouldn't have any until Tuesday or Thursday. Went over to check if they had it at the Textstore in the Uni Center. They're out too. So i spent the rest of the day calling up everyone i knew in that class (see above names) trying to see if i could photocopy their textbook. No luck until Peter reminded me to check the Coursebook Reserves at the library. Walked over to the Main Library and found out it was in the Science Library... across campus. Blah. I go say "Hi" to April before i grab the book. Ended up going home around 3:30. =P Then i find out the water heater back at home is busted. So i spent the rest of the night trying to fix it.
I severely need an FTP program so i can update my severely outdated information on parts of my site... but i'm severely lazy. =P Anyone know of a good "FREE" FTP program?

Even though i'm online practically everyday, i don't seem to update as much anymore. I think i tend to blog most when i actually have classes since it's something to complain about. Oh well. Don't worry, i'll have stuff to complain about soon enough. School starts a week from tomorrow. I hope i can survive.
I have to wake up around 8am tomorrow so i can try to add classes on UCI-Telnet. I need two ICS classes. If i don't get these... i'm screwed this quarter. I won't have any classes to take!
As for what's been happening in my life lately... not much. Just bought a new computer game. I got the Half-Life expansion: Half-Life: Blue Shift and Opposing Force. I already finished Opposing force. Just gotta finish Blue Shift sometime this week or next since i won't be able to play once class starts. I gotta lower my car sometime next week as well. (RICE ROCKET!!!!) My springs have been just sitting in my room for the past month. That's $140 collecting dust. =\
Anyways... i don't have anything else to write about. Peace out my peoples.
I miss my car so much. It's been exactly a week since i last drove her. I felt so empty that i even went out to buy her a present for when she comes back: RÄZO RA43 shift knob
(Yes i realize that i refer to my car as a person... yes you can call me a freak...)
I bought it used from Alfred so it's not brand new but hey... i saved some money =)
It's been a pretty chill week since the last post. Nothing bad has happened to me... yet *knock on wood* I realized i used quite a bit of profanity on my last post. I try to keep this site as PG-13 as possible but i guess i just crossed over to the R realm. Guess there's only one more place to go.... X j/k!
Anyways.... gotta start getting ready to head out to Irvine to meet up with my Spanish group. Damn i can't wait till this class is over... 3 MORE DAYS!!!!!
I seriously had the WORST possible day in my life, EVER! This whole week has just been really bad. I started Sunday with John rear-ending my car. Don't ask me how it happened cuz i really don' t kno. So now it needs to be fixed ASAP so i can give my mom her car back. So i've been using my mom's car (the Altima) to go to school the past few days. Tuesday i was late to class, but that was it. It seemed as if Tuesday was the quite before the storm because Wednesday, it felt like someone just felt like dropping an atom bomb on me. I was running late (again), so i was speeding down the freeway to get to school. I almost wrecked the car cuz i was going so fast. After avoiding the accident i happened to look down at the dash and saw the battery light and the hand-brake light on. WTF. Turns out the altenator died on me. I get to school safely so that was good. I had to call home and tell Dad what happened. After a short discussion of the situation he decided to come down to Irvine to replace the altenator. Around 4pm Dad and Jason (the neighbor) drive down to UCI to replace the altenator while i meet with my Spanish group. After they finished they headed back home while i head down to Jenn, Rena, and Shan's apartment in Lake Forest. Chilled out there for a bit, studied for my Spanish test and then headed out to a bible study with Rena. After the study, i drove Rena back to her apartment and needed to get my backpack, but there was no parking so i ended up parking at the end of the isle blocking the trash bin. I didn't think i was gonna get towed so i decided to sit and chat with Rena for a little while. Fifteen minutes later, i hear a truck. Guess what? It's the friggin' tow-truck with my car already hooked up. I dash out and try to plead with the drive to drop the car. He want's $40 so i'm frantically trying to get the money and when i finally get the cash ready he asks for my license and registration. Turns out i need to be the regsitered owner of the car before he can release it. So i call home to look for Dad, but my sister was online so i couldn't get through. Had to call Jason to have his mom walk over to my house to tell them to get off the phone. While all this is going on, the son-uva-bitch truck driver is getting ready to leave. When i tell him i have my dad on the phone, he tells me there's no point because the owner of the car has to be physically present for him to be able to release the car. What a prick! He didn't even tell me that. So i get my car towed, i'm bummed and stressed out. It's 11pm and i have no car. So Mom finally calls back and i tell her the situation and they decide to drive down to UCI to meet me so we can go get the car back. Around 12pm i met up with them and started to drive back to Lake Forest to pay the $138 fee and get my car back. End of story? HA! While going there, i get pulled over by fvcking Irvine police cuz one of the headlights on my dad's car was out. Can you believe this shit? in the span of four days, my car get's fucked in the ass (literally), i almost wreck mom's car, mom's car dies, i get towed, and i get pulled over by the cops. WTF?!?! Topping it all off my spanish test is at 9am.
So today i took the damn test... failed it... and hung out with Rena for the rest of the day. I guess nothing really bad happened today other than Rena locking her keys in her car. Luckily i had Auto Club so it wasn't a problem.
I'm home now, thanking God nothing happened today. Got massive stuff to do for school. *sigh*
