Drove in the middle, went up for the shot. Came back down on someone's foot. Rolled the shat out of my ankle. When i came down... i felt every bone in ankle pop/crack. I could've swore i broke it.
Went to UCI medical center (great hospital btw... definately going there if i can. But hopefully will never need to again).
X-rays and then Aerocast. Sent home with a severe sprain.
What a biatch it is to just take a shower. Still going to work tomorrow though =P
Oh and in case you were wondering... i made the shot. =P

How the fk do i owe $800something AGAIN?!?!
Jeebus... last year i did this and it was just about the same amount.
I swear the Gov't is somehow screwing all of us who only do the 1040EZ.
Hopefully my tax preparer will find deductions for me again and bump me back up to the positive end of the spectrum.

i <3 her
She's sleeping as i type this... i can hear her breathe. It's quite soothing.
We've been doing this for the past 3.25 years and it hasn't gotten old. If anything, i'd say we're both dependent on it.
For most couples, being together physically is a necessity for happiness. For us, it's being on the phone together. To be able to hear each other's voices and/or noises.
Ofcourse i'd go crazy if i didn't see her during the weekend, but being on the phone during the week helps me stay sane.
I rarely get to have meaningful conversations with her anymore, but that's mainly because of our differing sleep schedules.
Today was the first time in a while since i've been able to just talk to her. And it was nice.
It's amazing how i can fall in love with her over and over again.

Slow weekend
Friday: Rain... nuff said.
Saturday: More Rain. A lil bit of car fixing with Steve (friend of mine who had a prelude and got a G35). "Failure to Launch" and dinner and dessert with the crew. Then to Sar's house for boardgames. BTW: J's a cheater for stealing cards, and Sar is too for not saying anything. And for the record (cuz i know you're gonna say it), i didn't cheat. I followed the CORRECT rules. It's ok. We still won =)
Sunday: Woke up late and met up with Sar to go to the Southwest Museum. Tiny, but eh. Birthday dinner at her house for her uncle.
That's it. =P

Has it really been that long?
So according to Kel's blog, i believe it was either today or yesterday, that i met Sar in person for the first time after chatting online for a little while.
I still can't believe she remembers stuff like this. STALKER.
Anyway, i just thought that was pretty interesting. Nothing else to post.
Oh, actually... somehow i managed to sprain my ankle without even knowing. It's being iced with a coldpack as i type.

Oxymoron... yah i know.
Not much for a weekend, at least for me. Friday i met up with Sar and Hoho and we went to Frisco's where we paid like regular customers for the first time in a while. It's a good thing in the sense that i hate going there expecting a hook-up every time. I said hi to the manager, but i don't think he recognized me. The owner was there, but i didn't say hello since she was busy talking to a few other people. Saturday I woke up early for a facial cleaning and then met up with Sar, Charlie, and Hoho to go pick up Jojo from the groomers and then off to Petsmart for some shopping. I picked up a pinch collar ($25!!!!!) to try to get Charlie to stop pulling when we walk him. Sar was worried it was going to hurt Charlie, but he seems ok and responsive to the collar. I really hope it stops him from pulling so often. I really wish i didn't have to resort to physical corrective training. =( But i guess it's better than choking him with the choke collar we've been using, which doesn't work because he just chooses to choke and barely breathes. Picked up dinner from Shakas with her family and rented "The Notebook" which is a chick-flick, but a very good one =) Sunday i woke up late and met up with Sar to pick up som McDonald's. We ate at her house and then played with Charlie for a while. Ran some errands and had ramen noodles for dinner with her parents.
Not much for a weekend, but at least Sar got a lot of her work done. I really should get off my lazy arse and wash my cars. Both have been dirty for 3 weeks straight and i don't even really care. Bad. I should also go to the bank. I have 3 paychecks i have yet to deposit =X

'Tis the season...
For layoffs.
Word by the watercooler is that there may be another round of layoffs coming around the bend. *sigh* So goes the life of a tech.
I keep telling myself and others that, "If it comes, it comes. Not much i can do about it." But you know what? It's scary not knowing what lies ahead and how things will play out.
Still though, it's a good way to force change on myself. So far i've been pretty lucky.
We'll see how far my luck will take me.
