Nothing spectacular to report on, other than my self taught guitar is going well. After playing Guitar Hero at Irv's house, i realized i didn't want to screw myself over learning how to play THAT guitar instead of my REAL guitar =P
I can now play "Clementine" =) (Well... the chords for the simple song).
Hey. You gotta start somewhere.
Sar has been sick for the most part. I stopped by each day the entire weekend to spend some time with her and keep her company. I feel bad. Too much stress from everything.
Also helped the parents clean the house a lil for the coming Chinese New Year.

Repeat is killing me...
There are the kind of people that love music. They have their headsets on all day, everyday and won't be happy without it.
There's also people that simply enjoy music. They listen when they're in the mood.
Then there's these kinds of people: The person that hears a song he/she absolutely loves. Then they try to obtain that song by any means possible. Once that song is obtained, it's put on repeat for a billion times over and it never gets old to them until they find a new song they can kill.
Gawd. Someone dig my eardrums out.

New Hobby
There she is. Washburn D10CEQSB. Original list price is $480. Ofcourse it's cheaper now that it's an older model. But still not bad, considering i only paid about $65 for the repairs and nothing for the guitar itself.
Now to learn how to play this sucker...

MLK Holiday = Day off
Thursday: Played ball with the coworkers and left early to rush home, shower, eat and head over to Sar's house to go with her to LAX and drop off her parents for their trip to Florida for a wedding.
Friday: Rushed home, bought roses, and took the wifee out to Claim Jumpers for 3 year anniversary dinner (she really wanted a burger). Spent the night in with a movie... and yah. ;)
Saturday: Headed over to Sar's first thing and went to pick up my guitar from the store. They did a great job on the repairs and even hooked it up with a discount on the bag i bought for it. Drove out to Santa Anita so Sar could pick up some make up from VS and then a stop at Trader Joes for some snack foods. Met up with HoHo and J and had dinner at Macaroni Grill. They're currently featuring a new dish with pork chops (the actual name escapes me) but they're REALLY GOOD! I hope they make that dish a regular item, as that's probably the only thing i REALLY like there. Headed back home to walk the doggies and then Ho brough over her guitar so we could have a "jam session". That died quick as neither one of us can actually play, although I managed to make up a song about how gay J is with two chords i learned. Ended up with the girls knocking out on the couch while J and myself attempted to beat Super Mario Bros. 3 on Sar's NES. Failed attempt.
Sunday: Breakfast at Carrows with Sar, her sis, my sis, and me. Then headed over to Irv's to help me with my clear overlays for the G35's headlights. They didn't come out as well as i'd hoped, but it's ok. I may take them off later this week. Also got a chance to play Guitar Hero at his house. I might pick it up later this week. Went to Sar's house afterwards and then shot over to LAX to pick up her parents. Picked up Ho and J for dinner at the Loft. OMFGSOGOODDROOOL Island Style Fried Chicken! Ran over to rent "The Perfect Man" and watched it over at Ho's house. While the 3 of them watched, i kept myself entertained with Ho's dog (or kept the dog entertained... however you want to look at it). After the movie, it was FRICKEN COLD out so we ran to my car and while in a rush to get away from the cold, i bashed my head on the door sill of my car. That ended my night REAL fast.
Monday: Woke up with a splitting headache and met up with Sar and her family to go buy new tires for her car at Costco. 5 hour wait. Headed over to Macaroni Grill (yes again.) and had lunch. Came back home to wash both my cars. Then took Sar to pick up her car, and went to Wonton Time in Alhambra for some yummie wonton soup, and then to Crepe in a Grip for dessert.
BTW - I still have a slight headache.

Another short weekend
Friday: Off work at 4pm and a straight shot to the LA Convention Center for the '06 LA Auto show. Got there at 7pm with free tix from a coworker's gf. Made a bee-line for Infiniti so J could drool over the new '06 FX45. Spent an hour there and pretty much had to run through the rest of the show in about an hour. Nothing spectacular at the show this year.
Saturday: Natural History Museum today with Hoho's cousins. Tons of fun with those kids. Man, i dunno how the parents handle them. With Ho, Sar, J, and myself barely keeping up, i dunno how i'm gonna handle the seventy-billion kids Sar wants. =P Dropped off the kiddies and the 4 of us had dinner at Johnny Carino's in West Covina. Not the best Italian food i've had. I still like Olive Garden better.
Sunday: Errand day with Sar and J. Pit stop at Costco for a cheap hotdog and pizza lunch. Stopped by petsmart with Charlie to get him a new collar. Drove back home to wash J's and Sar's car while i spent some QT with Charlie. Dropped off the dog for dinner and had Cheesecake factory with J and Sar where i found out they changed my Meatloaf sandwich. It's really a sandwich now! =( I like how they had it before... it was a huge slab of meatloaf on a slice of egg bread, served open-faced toppped high with mashed potatos and onion rings. Damn. First Olive Garden nixed my tortellini bolognase and now Cheesecake. Grr.
That's it.
And by special request (since i'm talking to her right now): I <3 my babie! She's such a cutie!
