Things are FINALLY starting to slow down at work. All the tickets have been cleared out of the queue and we're back at our normal pace. However, this break will be short lived. New Century Mortgage has bought RBC mortgage. We're in the process of merging. This means we have to convert all their PC's and laptops to our image. (An image is the bundle we call our standardized operating system and software for all you non-tech people). Next month, i (along with other techs) may have to fly out all over the US to convert all the PC's and laptops at the branches and offices. That's a lot of PC's. It's gonna be busy.
I'm still on the wire about what i want to do. I want to travel, but at the same time, i'm gonna miss my babe. I dunno if i can go on two weeks at a time without seeing her. It's like when she left for Japan all over again =(
Only at least i'll have the phone. But still....

Work sucks... i know...
to quote Blink-182's "All the small things". These past two days have been hell. I can't believe how a simple EXE file can cause so much damage. Monday morning started out with ZERO tickets. I seriously had NOTHING to do. Then 11am rolls around and we get calls of weird messages of computers rebooting.
Virus hits.
Mother fker... about 500 computers at the company has the virus. From 11am to 5pm we have the security guys trying to figure out this virus. Finally at 5pm we have a fix and we start going floor by floor, pc by pc updating and patching the pc. We don't leave until 12am.
Tuesday was still busy. Everyone's back in business but there's still some viruses here and there. Then i have to help setup about 60 wireless laptops at the Westin in South Coast Plaza for a training session. Ofcourse nothing works and again i'm there till 12am figuring it out.
I'm tired.

Why Hoho will be a l0s3R until the end of time..
Here's the story:
Hollie's uncle has a friend that has a friend who was/is roomates with Vanness from F4 (This gay lookin' guy right here). Some chinese pop star or something or other. (Hollie is in love with him)
Anyways, it was Vanness' birthday two weeks ago and he was celebrating it at Orchid, a Korean Karaoke bar in LA. So Hollie and her friend Helen got all dressed up to go meet this guy there. They drive all the way to LA and see him standing outside the club chatting with friends. Instead of parking the car, and going over to him to say hello and make herself exist in his world... she drives around the block 3 times just to LOOK at him. Kinda stalkerish if you ask me.
Anyways... after the 3rd time around, she drives home.
This is why Hollie is the biggest loser of all time and has lost the right to call anyone else a loser from now until she gets another rare opportunity to see Vanness and redeem herself by going over and introducing herself.
Hollie. You lose.

Went to see him perform at the Greek in Hollywood Saturday night. GREAT show! I like his music, but I never gave the guy much credit until he sang without the mic into the audience. We were sitting about a 100 yards away and we still heard the guy. WOW. Very talented and funny. Makes for a very entertaining show. Must go see him again.
As far as the rest of the weekend, not much (as usual). Just the same, hanging with Sar and the other two. Bought a few work shirts at the mall... if that's news to you =P
