Not only that, i got Jason and Lyn to each buy a pair.
It's a disease. I'm spreading it.

I'm an Oakley whore
Yesterday was the opening day of "Supervault": an Oakley warehouse sale. I took Sar with me all the way out to Ontario for the sale and made out with 3 pairs of sunglasses and 2 baseball caps for my sister. Only spent $160. That's already less than ONE pair of sunglasses from Oakley.
I think i'm going again today. I might buy some more.
I think i have a problem.

I can drive STICK!!!
So Jason got his hands on 4 Angels Baseball tickets and wanted to go with one of the receptionists at work. I didn't want to go because i'm feeling under the weather.
Dilemma: Jason drove to work today. It's a 5spd Altima. I'm not very good at driving stick.
Long story short, Sarah (the receptionist) said she could drive Jason home. So Jason threw me his keys.
I spent about an hour after work with Tom (my coworker) learning how to stop and go on an incline. I finally got the hang of it and drove all the way home.
I had so much fun. Now i want a new car... with stick!!! =D

Still waiting...
Finally able to make the trip to Costco to order the tires, but now i'm gonna wait another two weeks before i have them on my car. Here's why:
We walk into the tire center at the Montebello Costco, and the sales guy asks me what size tire.
Me: 205/50/16. Sales Guy: Prelude, right? Me: Yah, how'd you know? Sales Guy: I remember you guys.
That was kinda surprising, but then he proceeds to tell me that if i wait two weeks, there will be a sale on the tires i want, plus it takes a week to order tires.
So I'm gonna order them this weekend, wait one week to ship, and by then the sale will be in progress.
I guess it's good that this happened even though i wanted the rims on like... last week =P. Now i have time to touch up the rims with some paint and do some other stuff to the car before i throw on the rims.
Ah well. All good things come to those who wait.

The "I HATE COMPUTERS" post strikes again
So last night at about 12am, i'm playing TFC (Half-Life: Team Fortress Classic) and all of a sudden my internet connection dies. I spend about an hour doing the normal checks and nothing i did helped.
Went to bed.
Woke up and tried to get it to work again while eating breakfast. Still no go.
I come back home and still no go. I end up taking the laptop to Jason's house to see if it's the computer. Nope, internet works great.
Come home and call Verizon and they ran through a list of checks and ofcourse told me it's not on their end and suggested to call Microsoft. I proceed to badmouth Microsoft because of the helpdesk location (Read: India).
I test the DSL modem straight to PC. Works. Hmmm....
I test the PC to the Router. No work. Hmmm....
I finally figure out all the configurations to the router are gone because i can't even ping the default IP to get to the router config menu. I spend about 15 min resetting the router and reconfiguring and now it works at about 12am.
Did i mention i HATE computers?

Time for an update
So my babie is finally a USC grad! I'm so proud of her!! I love you!! She's currently in Enseñada on a cruise. Hope she's having tons of fun =) I miss her so much though.
Friday's graduation was soooooo tiring. Had to wake up at 5:30am and get there early just so we could get seats... which didn't happen =P Me, J, and Hoho decided to leave the main ceremony early to save good seats for the School ceremony. That worked out MUCH better. J took some great shots. Went out to lunch at MPV restaurant in Alhambra. Mmmm.... good Chinese food. Ended the night by going to the Yardhouse in Pasadena with Sar, J, Char, Bea, and Ser.
Saturday I woke up early again to get the rims (pictured below) dropped off. Then spent the day running a couple of errands before going to Sar's grad dinner at Los Gueros Grill in Pasadena. Mucho comida buena! =)
Sunday was spent mostly with Sar before she left for her cruise. She made me, J, and HoHo stuffed pasta shells. VERY yummy! In the end, i think i was more stuffed than the shells =X
That's it for the weekend update, but today I got my rims back. Here's some pics:
