Mother Nature for these damn Santa Ana winds. It's so dry and hot out. I don't mind the hot so much... it's the dryness and the windyness. Killer on my already sore-throat.

I took too long to decide and when i finally did, they were no more. Hopefully a similar condition set will come soon. I'm so set on Mugen rims now.
I also dropped $450 on camber kits for my car. For those of you who don't know what i'm talking about...
My tires looked like this: // \\ Now they look like this: || ||
No more uneven tire-wear for me! I went to Discount Tires in El Monte. Apparently there had been 10+ preludes in that day. Was there some kinda prelude meet i didn't know about??
Saturday i went clubbin' at the Century Club in Century City for my co-workers' Bday. Pretty nice club. Oh and just to add... my gf looked HAWT!!! So sexy =) Had tons of fun and even took a trip to Pink's hotdogs afterwards. Thanks to all who came out!
Sunday was spent with Sar and her family for Easter Champagne Brunch. Food was DELICIOUS! I ate soooooo much! Waffles with strawberrys, kiwis, and bananas, cheese omelets, honey baked ham, potatoes, and lemon jell roll for dessert. YUM!
I'm gonna be so poor (rims) and I'm gonna get so fat (food).

An admission to being a FOB
Fobby Hippo (9:45:23 AM): cause you're a FOB in training Fobby Hippo (9:45:36 AM): jason and i will have you all polished up Fobby Hippo (9:45:41 AM): 8-) Damon (10:12:09 AM): nevAr Fobby Hippo (10:12:23 AM): yes we will Fobby Hippo (10:12:31 AM): the power of the FOBs! Damon (10:12:38 AM): so you admit Damon (10:12:40 AM): you are a fob
What i don't understand is why everyone got so fired up about it. The thing is, there were differening opinions on it. Some thought it was racist and others found it humorous. I would understand the discontinuation of the shirt if everyone found it offensive, but i don't think that was the case.
Maybe i'm just bitter i didn't get to buy one before they took it off the shelves =P
Here's the article (where i borrowed the picture above) on it. Article

Taxes suck
I was using www.turbotax.com to kinda get an idea of the kind of return i was looking to get this year. Turns out i OWE the IRS. Son-of-a.....
You know the saying, "Don't count your chicks before they hatch"... well, i didn't follow that advice too well. I've been spending money like crazy lately. I bought the Logitech GT4 steering wheel, Gran Turismo 4, a 20 Gig iPod, and other big ticket items all thinking i was gonna get a fairly large return this year.
Oh well. I know exactly why i'm not getting money back though. It's cuz i accidentally checked off the box for the IRS to NOT take any money from me last year. That's my fault. Hopefully my tax lady can find some ways to make the amount i owe to the government less.
We'll find out April 5th. Oh and i have jury duty the week of 4/11/05. Sucks ass.

Weekend activities
Friday - Met up with J and My Babie :) and went to Frisco's AGAIN (we went last week). The reason why is because J wanted to ask out the waitress we had last week. Turns out she wasn't there, but was able to find out from the owner and a cousin that worked there that she was single.
Saturday - Woke up early to go get turned into a pretzel (Chiropractor) and then met up with Sar and HoHo to Pasadena for some afternoon ice skating. None of us fell. Although there were plenty of Koreans there falling all over the place and smelling like Kimchee =X After skating we stopped by the Apple store to pick up a "condom" for my iPod. Stopped by Schurr to help the band sell some delicious curry rice and japanese rice crackers. The Curry was selling quick, but the rice cracker sales were kinda slow. As we were sitting there, i got bored and made up a jingle to sell:
Would ya like to buy some sushi? Or maybe some curry rice? But the best deal in the house is.. Rice crackers for a very low price!
Didn't really work, but it was hilarious =) Took HoHo home so she could go out with family and me and Sar met up with J to go to Red Lobster for dinner. Hoho met up with us afterwards and headed over to Frisco's (YES AGAIN!) for dessert and alcohol (The "Joanna Banana" is SUPER goooooood!). At first we didn't get our waitress from last time, but right before she brought over our water, our waitress skated over and greeted us with this huge smile. We knew right away she knew why we were back. Long story short, J asked her out and she said yes! I'll leave out the embarrasing details ;) J left her his number and we went back to my house where me and J watched Oceans 11 and HoHo and Sar slept.
Sunday - Picked up some McDonald's before heading over to Sar's apartment and watched "Supersize me!" Ironic. Then headed over to LACMA to check out some Chinese art for a paper she's doing for one of her classes. We got in for free since they were closing early for some event they were having in the foyer. Walked around the park a lil before going back to Sar's apartment where we made bean burritos, chicken tortilla soup, and spanish rice for dinner. YUMMY! J came over too, but the guy loves meat, so he brought over a 14 pc bucket from KFC.
Today - Back to work. Bummer.

I said i wouldn't do it...
but i gave in and bought myself a 20 gig Ipod. When they first came out, i couldn't believe the people who would pay $300+ for a dinky mp3 player. But now i realize how invaluable this little $300 piece of machine is.
I figure i spend about 3+ hours a day in my car. It's too hard for me to continually come up with new mixes to burn on cd and play them in my car. Now i have my entire collection at the touch of my fingers.
This is gonna be fun.

From the Request-line...
I haven't been updating because well... the few readers that actually read this site are pretty much with me everytime something blog-worthy comes up. But for the sake of what's going on with me lately in one shot, here goes (in no particular order)...
I'm gonna be picking up a 20Gig iPod sometime next week. Costco has a deal, for $329 you get the 20Gig iPod unit with apple dock and 15 iTunes downloads. Not bad considering the apple dock is about $30 anyway and it's something i'd probably get. Costco also had a mailer that went out a couple months ago that has a coupon for a *FREE* Belkin accessory pack, which includes an FM transmitter, case, headphones, car charger, audio cables, and some other stuff. This pack alone is worth $89. I was probably gonna buy this stuff anyway so now it's like i'm only spending $240 for what could've been a $418 purchase. Good deal, no?
I'm still laggin on buying my set of rims for the prelude. (See above for why). So much $$$ flying around.
I went to the D1GP on Sunday with Irv, Darren, Amie, and Andy. Pretty cool event, even though i got burned like a pasty white-girl that's never seen sun and decided to get a tan. I look like a raccoon. And to make it worse, i had to take my picture today for my new id badge. Sjot. <--- That's my way of typing "Sh*t" for all you n00bs.
I got jury duty. -__-
I can't seem to get my damn archives to work. (HELP!)
Ok, that's enough. Can't think of anything else. I wanna go sleep.
