A very MJ holiday weekend
(And i'm not talking about the King of Molesting =X)

I think i gained about 100 lbs. over the holiday weekend. Wednesday night, Sar cooked me, Jason, and HoHo dinner. She made stuffed chicken marylands and greenbeans. We had to order a pizza since me and Sar weren't exactly expecting company, but we still welcome them just the same =)

Thursday, I ate all this GOOD food with Sar's family. Cranberry sauce, stuffing, broccoli casserole, candied yams, ham, turkey, gravy, salad, cornbread, rolls, and pumpkin pie.... oh man.... i'm SO fat =| THEN i went home to eat with MY family. Turkey, ham, potatos, yams, broccoli, and apple pie. DOOD.

Friday i spent the day with Sar. She helped me wash my car (THANKS, BABE!) and then went christmas shopping with her. Also went to Macaroni Grill with Jason and HoHo, where we found out that someone was "off-the-market" =P Also got to practice driving stick for a little bit, and then went to HoHo's house to play Mah-jhong (Yes.. this is where the "MJ" from the title comes to play).

We had so much fun playing MJ, that we ended up playing the rest of the weekend. Saturday was my sis' Bday... btw:

Happy Birthday, Sis!

Went with the family to Hsi Lai temple, a buddhist temple in Hacienda Heights. Pretty nice place. HoHo, Jason, and me went to test drive a Benz C320 and an Audi A6 while we waited for Sar to get out of the Notre Dame / SC game. GO SC!!!!! A6 Quattro is SO much fun to drive! God i'm in love with that car now. Just by the way it drives. Feels really good. Bad experience with BMW salesguy. He treated us like a bunch of kids who wanted to take a 5 series for a joy-ride. Jason talked to the sales manager and basically chewed him a new one. That was cool =P Met up with Sar and went to eat at a chinese restaurant where we almost couldn't order cuz we couldn't read chinese. Then went to Jason's house to play more MJ.

Tonite, we did the Shabu-shabu thing at Jason's house with his parents and my mom, and.... yep... played MJ. =)

That's pretty much what happened over the past 5 days. Lots of MJ, and lots of fun with friends. Good weekend. =)

My job.... sucks?

First and foremost,

Happy 1 yr.-10 mth. Anniversary, Babe!!

For a summary of what we did, go to her site.

Work has been pretty sh*tty lately. Today was the worst. I'm basically a one-man IT department. Out of the two of us, i'm doing all the tickets because my co-worker was put on a project for one of the bizitches who demands everything not right now, but like last week. And on top of it, i'm getting sick. Actually, scratch that. I AM sick. -__-

I can't wait until this week is over with. Next week the rest of the guys come back and we have Thanksgiving holiday coming up, so that will be a nice 4-day rest with TONS of good food =) This weekend will be a 3-day for me, cuz my supervisor gave me a paid-monday off. (My bosses are cool). So that means it's only gonna be a 2-day work week. Score!

Two prelude meets comin' up. One this Sunday in Torrance, and one next Sunday at the Irvine Spectrum. I need to wash and wax my car.... BAD.

Catchin' up

A lot has happened since the first day i found out i couldn't blog, but sadly i don't remember what happened and whether or not it was significant enough to post... but then again, if i don't remember then i guess is wasn't that important, right? =P

Thursday and Friday at work were complete nightmares. Thursday was the first day of 2.5 weeks that only me and my co-worker Sam would be running the show as my other co-workers are off in Colorado, San Ramon, and Hawaii (lucky SOB...) doing PC support for training classes. Basically we're running things here from 5am to 6pm. So ofcourse the day they're gone, everyone and their mommasbrotherssistersnephewscousinsneightborsfriendsdog was calling in tickets. All i could do was work on them one by one.

Friday was spent with Sar at her apartment where she made me chicken enchiladas, black beans, and spanish rice! It was SOOOO GOOD... aside for the fact that i've been wanting to lose some more weight for quite some time now, but i ended up eating more than what i needed =X ACK! No willpower... none whatsoever =(

Saturday me, Sar, Teh LoS3r, and Jason went out for my congratulatory dinner for gettig hired full-time. We ate at Fu-Shing restaurant in Pasadena. Now, with me being raised "typical Chinese", you learn to spot a white-washed chinese place VERY easily. Here's what i noticed:

-It's CLEAN (like... spotless)
-Music playing when you walk in
-The hostesses are wearing nice (well... maybe a lil tacky) outfits
-It's not noisy (which is why i noticed the music)
-We're the ONLY asian people in there aside from the waiters
-They serve water with lemon without even being asked for it.
-Forks are on the table and chopsticks are given when asked (as opposed to the other way around)
-Everyone speaks English first, then chinese when they know you speak it.
-Rice is optional and paid for by the bowl
-The waiter SERVES you (@_@) WOW!
-Fortune cookies are offered as a dessert
-And last but not least... the staff is FRIENDLY. DOUBLE WOW!
-Edit: And i just found out they have a website... DUDE!

Now if you've been to enough chinese restaurants, you know this is HIGHLY out of the ordinary. But even still, the food was EXCELLENT! We ordered the Minced Beef and Cilantro Soup, Shrimp with Sizzling Rice, Fu-Shing Pan Fried Noodles, and Mushu Pork. At first i was having trouble ordering since i knew i could probably order 99% of the menu for a fraction of what they were asking for during Chinese Special lunch. Example: Orange Chicken -- Special lunch: $3.95, Fu-Shing: $9.99. This is why we went with the "Specialty" dishes on their menu, which was a really good idea because, yes the food was VERY good. This is coming from 3 Chinese people (me, Jason, Hollie) who know what good chinese food is. Thanks again, Sweetie!!

Sunday i spent some time at Sar's watching Big Fish. GREAT movie. We were so into the movie and wanted to see it until the end that we ended up being late for Sandy's birthday dinner at The Great Greek in Ventura. Btw:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SANDY!!

Food was good (a lil pricey, no?), but it was a birthday dinner so it was cool. =) Got to see some faces i hadn't seen for a while... although didn't talk much only cuz they were sitting so far away =P

Monday was blah since i had to work 5am - 7pm. Ghey. Yesterday wasn't as bad since i did 7am-7pm. And i just found out tomorrow i'm doing the 5am - 7pm again. Ugh... i'd better try and get some more work done and stop wasting my time blogging.

It's a good thing i like my work...

Otherwise i don't think i would've lasted through today. I worked from 5am to 7pm today.... NON-STOP. I came in earlier to help out my coworker setup 15 laptops in a training room at 5am so he could have time to work on some of his other tickets. It also gave me some time to catch up on some of mine. Even though i'm SUPER tired, i still feel ok and i got a lot done today. Man... i'm gettin' all this OT, but at the same time... i'm getting crazy taxed on it by Uncle Sam. =( You know... it's almost not worth it to work so much. =P

Anyway... i can't think straight right now. Everything i just wrote sounds like babble to me. I'm so tired. I'll post more later........

Maybe.
