There are a lot of things i'm thankful for this year... probably too many to list, but i'll list a few:
I'm thankful for my loving parents and their continual support in everything i do. I'm thankful for my sister, whom i don't always show it, but love her very much. I'm thankful for having that special person in my life, who loves me just as much as i love her. I'm thankful for the friends i have that have stuck by me since the day i met them. And i'm thankful for my health.
There's tons more... but these are the most prominent in my mind. Hope Everyone eats lots!

You know the saying, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" ?
That translates to a 70%, which in turn translates to a "C" grade. Go ICS!! (Information and Computer Science for all you non-Irvine people). When i saw the score, i felt a little... how should i put it... stupid, but then i thought about my cubicle-buddy Rich and how bad his spelling is. It's amazing how the people who work here are technical enough to fix a workstation, but can't spell to save their life. He's constantly asking me to check the grammar and spelling on his documentation. It got so bad, Mary (our team lead) had to have him re-type everything so she could understand it. Here's an example from the other day: "Workstation need to be reimaged do to a corupt fiel." He hits the spell checker on MS Word and he's screaming and yelling about not knowing what's wrong. =P
I know i'm not former 1st place spelling bee winner or grammarian, but geez people... some of it is 3rd grade stuff.
I guess a 70% in spelling will suffice for the nature of work i do. =P Legible writing is another story...

Big (F)UCLA vs. USC game this saturday. Last year it was USC-52 v. UCLA-21. I predict similar (if not better) results =)
GO TROJANS!

Leftover Yoshinoya for lunch today... ick.
Saw Love Actually with Sar and we both liked it a lot. Very good movie. Definately a chick-flick. So that means definately a movie you go watch with your significant other. Although there was a lot of random nudity. Guess it made it that much funnier =X
Hmm.. what else has been happening... celebrated Sandy's birthday with a dinner at Raffi's Place. It's a Persian-Armenian kebab restaurant. Very good and very large portions. I shared a chicken kebab plate with Sar and we were both really full. About 7-8 large pieces of white chicken, roasted tomatos and chilis, and rice. Very good. The only bad thing about it is that i had to sit behind another table of smokers and i couldn't really enjoy my food since i was coughing so much.
I thought i had more to talk about, but i guess i'm out for now.

Been out with the flu the past couple days. Seriously wanted to die. Missed two days of work too. There goes this week's paycheck. I barely went to work today, but at 2pm. When my lead saw me, she told me to go home =P That's how bad i looked.
I left work at 5, so i only got 3 hours in today. At least she took me off the list for working on a project this weekend *YEA!*
I hope i'll feel better tomorrow. I hate being sick.
