Met up with Alfred and some other prelude buddies to take pictures of our cars at the Puente Costco tonite (12/30/02). Made some new friends too. =) After we were done taking pictures, one of the guys decided to race the S2000 that was there... so a few of us (6 of us) drove out to this quiet industrial street off of Turnbull Canyon Rd to watch them run. I even got to run once. First up was the stock S2000 vs a modified 5sp Prelude. (Winner: S2k) Then it was a stock 5sp Prelude SH vs a modified V6 Accord Coupe. (Winner: Prelude). I wasn't even planning on running, but Alfred wanted to run SS lude vs SS lude, and i wanted to see how my car (intake only) would run against one that has an Intake, header, exhaust, and NOS. My first race and i won! =) But it's not a big win. First off Alfred didn't squeeze, and i also go the jump on him in the beginning. And i also realized neither of us reset the ECU so the cars would recognize the parts we had in our cars. So basically the only reason i won was cuz i got the jump. Still cool =) Next time me and Alfred run, we'll be ready and i want him to squeeze... i wanna see how much of a difference all that stuff really makes =)

Midnitechallenge.com is such a stupid game, but at the same time it's VERY addicting and fun =P
Midnitechallenge (MC) is an online strategy game similar to those "Fantasy Sports" games that people play online, only MC is centered around the Import racing culture. First and foremost the objective of the game is to race and win. To do this you need to make money and you can either do that by "Cruising" for "Import Models" and then having them sell calendars or you can race your car. Other features include stealing other people's cars, property, or models or getting your own stuff jacked. Pretty realistic as models can leave you, the police can catch you, you have to buy insurance and car alarms and what not... pretty much anything can happen. It's a pretty neat game played mostly by your imagination. All the site does is keep track of your stats. (Keep in mind i'm laughing the whole time i'm typing this up =P)
Bottom line... this game is retarded... but addicting and fun enough that i'm still playing =) Hell... i got a car crew already!: Me, Pook, Elg, Irv, Alfred, and Grace. Hehehe.. too much fun.

Gonna try to paint my brake calipers tomorrow at Irv's. At least it's something to do. I haven't done much of anything this past week. Kinda sad.
Yesterday i took Jason to the airport. Woke up at 6 freaking AM. Yeesh i haven't woken up that early for an entire year. I didn't even sleep the nite before. I had eaten a lot during christmas dinner and knocked out at 10pm. When i woke up it was 1:30am and i needed to shower cuz i just felt gross. After showering i wasn't sleepy anymore so i just watched TV and read magazines. Yup... rot my brain some more. When it was about 5am, i decided to TRY to sleep for an hour. I ended up laying there for an hour. So i started watching Ktla5 morning news (Sharon Tay is a hottie).
Traffic on the 105 West and East wasn't bad at all. I made it to LAX in about 30 minutes. Traffic AT LAX is a different story. It took me about 15-20 minutes just to get to Terminal 3... and it's RIGHT THERE for cryin out loud. During which i get cut off numerous times. But this one dude in a Volvo C70 convertable cut me off BAD. I was in the lane next to the drop off lane and just waiting to get to Terminal 3. Next thing i know this volvo is in front of me coming from the lane to my left. No signals. I was like... WTF?!?!? I didn't honk cuz i figured... eh.. it's LAX. I'll probably do the same thing later. So the Volvo then moves over to the drop off lane but then realizes he's at the wrong terminal and tries to cut back in. *evil grin*. I move up and block him. He keeps trying. I won't budge. The guy knows he cut me off and the whole time he's trying to get in, he's right next to me. I stare at him the whole way and the chickenshit doesn't even look over. I catch him look out of the corner of his eyes a couple times. Bitch. Anyways... he finally knudges his way in behind me. Just right then there was another car that was signaling to get from the drop off lane. So i stop and let him in. MUAHAHHAHAH.... *evil grin*. And then whaddaya know? It's Terminal 3! So i pull over and let Jason off. *evil grin*. Trust me. If you were there, you'd be laughing with me. Jason was... so was my mom. She was there too. =)
Getting out of LAX was another story. So much traffic. It took me a good 30 minutes from Terminal 3 to the 105 freeway entrance. For those who don't know... it only takes about a minute to drive the entire drop off ring with no traffic. And those guys that drive those airport shuttles are assholes. So are limo drivers. And Taxi drivers. Went out to eat with the entire family afterwards and when i came home i knocked out on the couch for 6 hours.
Kristen came by this afternoon to drop off my christmas present. She got me Nike Basketball shorts! WOOO! They're reversible.. ooOOOoOooOOooo! They're white and VERY flashy =P Kinda wish i actually played half good. =P Thanks Kristen!!!
Didn't do anything tonite. Kinda just sat around. =\ So goes my vacation.

Woke up late again (1pm). I was supposed to wake up at 9am to make a run to the post office to buy some stamps to send out some christmas cards. Yah... my whole family procrastinates. I ended up going around 2pm, and to my surprise, the post office was pretty much empty. Nice. Got in, got out. Then i went to eat lunch with my mom and sister and then dropped off my sister at the band room for her caroling duties.
Sunny called me up and asked if I wanted to go on a last minute gift run at Paseo Colorado. He needed to buy a bottle of perfume and only Kel told me about. She likes going there for the candy cuz it's supposedly really good. I was curious so i grabbed two. The candy is actually pretty good =) Granted it's just hard candy... but it was good! The cashier lady walked us to the back of the store to wrap Sunny's gift and there was more candy! After she was done wrapping and walked away, we both grabbed a handful before leaving. LOL. Hey.. it's not like we're gonna go back there anytime soon. =)
Afterwards we went to Tommy's to clog our arteries. After eating i came home and met up with Sar. We exchanged gifts and i went to pick up my sister from band. Now i'm sitting here bored. Wanna go out?
Just checked my grades and i'm REALLY happy =) I was expecting SO much worse. I got an A- in Ethics and Education, a B in ICS 52 - software eng., and a B- in ICS 131 - Social Analysis of Computing. My term GPA is a 3.114! WOOOO! (ICS 52 is a six unit class for all you math people thinking something doesn't add up). I swear i thought it was gonna be below a 3.0. Yay! However... my overall GPA did go down a bit... from 3.323 to 3.307. =\ Oh well.. i have 199 units under my belt. =P Major and two minors. Ah well.

It's Thursday. It feels like Friday. What is going on here. It's VACATION! I'm supposed to be enjoying it 24/7. And to top it off, it's gonna rain for the next 3-4 days.
Decided to wash my car Tuesday afternoon. Yah i know it was raining the night before, but it wasn't really bad timing on my part. Right when i finished drying, it started to rain. Got a few drops on the car but moved it back into the garage in time to wipe off the drops. Hasn't rained since =) Still squeaky clean. Later that night i went out to watch 8mile with Kristen. I already saw it with a few of the guys, but didn't mind watching it again. Besides... the battles are off the hook! We got out around 9:30pm and already saw a long line forming for the 12:01am showing of Lord of the Rings 2. Wow... freaks. Anyways... we went to Friscos to grab a bite but only had about 7 minutes to order since they were closing in 10 minutes. Oops. Didn't know restaurants close at 10 on weekdays =P Called it a night after that. That was the most excitement i've had since Tuesday. Everyday after that i just stayed home. I need to have more fun, cuz 2 days of boredom after a fun night out really sucks ass =P (I had lots of fun Kristen! Thanks! Glad you love Stitch!)
Hopefully i'll have something to do this weekend. Anyways... Friends is on!

Not much else going on right now. Christmas shopping is a pain in the booty. It's not so much buying the gifts that's a pain... it's finding parking at the damn mall. Geez people cannot drive for squat and i've come to the conclusion that pedestrians are retarded. They're like cows. When one decides to go... all the rest go. And they go everywhere, making it so that if you're in a car... you're not going anywhere. It's like a cattle crossing, cept if you hit one... well either way it's still bad =X
In other news, i finally got a TV in my room! =P To some of you it may seem like nothing, but i've been trying to get a TV into my room for the longest time. I finally succeeded when my neighbor decided he wanted to throw out his old Hitachi 13" Color TV into our garbage can. Took it out and plugged it in. It works! Woohoo... so now i have an "old skool" TV. It's the one with the knobs as channel selectors and you have to pull a knob to turn it on. It's a piece of shit... but i love it =) Gonna be watching a lot of TV this winter break.
I also decided to clean out my college Info and application drawer. The stuff in there dates back to 1998. I found old application forms, acceptance forms, info packets, college essay drafts, SAT stuff, etc, etc. Funny thing is i couldn't find my rejection letter from UCLA. Hmm...odd. Don't ask me why i kept all that useless paperwork, cuz i seriously don't kno. All i kno is that it's finally out of there *points to drawer* and in there *points to trash bin*.
Guess that's it for now. Maybe i'll take pictures of my car tomorrow... if i lower it. *crosses fingers*

Yes! I just finished my LAST assignment for all my classes!!! WOOHOO! Well.. i actually have a final paper due Tuesday... but that's a final paper.. not a regular assignment. =)
I didn't sleep till 7:30am this morning cuz i was up doing my Testing document for ICS 52, which i really sat down and started at 11pm. =X It was due at 2pm today. Not bad... last all nighter of the quarter!!!!
Finals are next week. I have that paper due Tuesday, my ICS 131 final that same day, and my ICS 52 Software Engineering final on Friday. Then i'll be FREE! Good luck to me and everyone else on finals! Unless yours are this week... in that case... good luck to you first!
