boooring.....BOOOORING....damn... i need to find something to do!!! 3 days of break left!!! * * * * *Vacation is relaxing... but it's sooooooo... BORING. All i've been doing is going out to eat with the guys and when it's not with the guys... it's with the family. Sheesh... i gotta hit up the ARC sometime in the next few days of break. I should try to go more often this quarter too. Hopefully i'll have more free time this quarter than last. But you never kno with ICS majors... (I Can't Socialize). Ah well... Frick!! I hope it's just the power supply and all i need to do is get a new one, but if my system fried on me again... someone's gonna DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna try to fix it tomorrow.... Guess what people? I have no life! Well... i did go out earlier, but it wasn't much of an outing. I just went to Old Towne Pasadena to chill for a bit. Nothing else really. Kinda sucks when all you do is go out to eat. So much money!!! Plus the fact i'm gaining all this weight from eating out everynite... for lunch AND dinner. Oh well.. so goes life. No one's online... i'm so bored......... * * * * *Friday, March 22, 2002Nothing like drinking pulpy OJ straight from the container at 2:30 in the morning =). Very relaxing. Especially after a fairly traumatic day. At least... traumatic for me. Ok... if you don't kno... i LOVE my sunglasses. For me, sunglasses aren't fashion accessories you just buy to look *cool* with what you're wearing. Sunglasses are a daily necessity. The sun is my enemy. UV rays hurt my eyes. It's very hard for me to function in the daylight without my sunglasses. I wear them when i walk... i wear them when i drive... i wear them when i play. Basically, i wear sunglasses anytime i have to be out in the sun. I don't care if i get a sunglass tan and look like a raccoon. As long as i have my glasses... i'm happy. But... i'm also VERY picky about what brand of sunglasses i wear. is the ONLY brand of sunglasses i will wear. Not only do their styles look cool... the research and development in these "fine tuned performance instruments" are worth the hefty price tag themselves. So now you can see, i'm VERY passionate about my eyewear. So why was today traumatic? It's because i lost my prescription Oakleys. =( Dammit. Here's what happened.... i went to Cerritos mall with Pooks today to shop for some clothes. We walked into Aeropostale and i started to look around. I was wearing a baseball cap today so instead of putting my Oakleys in my shirt pocket like i normally do... i put it on my head. After walking around for about 15-20 minutes... i knew i still had the glasses on my head cuz i was trying a couple shirts on and i had to take off my hat and sunglasses, but i remembered specifically putting my sunglasses back on my head. No doubt about that. After another 10 minutes of looking around... Pooks asked me if i wanted to get a T-shirt cuz they were on sale, 2 for $20 and he wanted to split. I said ok... and started to look. Then Pooks pointed to a shirt with a big "A" on it and jokingly said, "i get grades like this!" and i proceeded to point to the top of my head where on my hat, there was an "A" as well since my hat was from Aeropostale. Right when i pointed... i noticed it felt different.... that's when i noticed my glasses were gone. I freaked. Seriously.... i started looking through the entire store seeing if i had dropped it somewhere. After 20 minutes of searching... no luck. I lost my glasses. Someone had taken them. I asked the sales people if they had seen it. No luck. I left my contact info just in case they might turn up. I highly doubt it tho. =( Glasses worth $170 gone just like that. And the stupid part about all this is... whoever took 'em thinking they scored a nice set of shades is gonna find out he/she won't even be able to use them since they're prescription and they're probably just gonna throw 'em away or something. Stupid. What a waste. Oh well.. it's gone. What else can i do? At least i didn't pay the full $170 for them since i have health insurance and it covers optical. So i only paid $40 for them. But still. The sunglass frames alone cost $75. It's these here: Oakley Four. So yah..tack on the prescription lenses and you got a grand total of about $170+. *Sigh* I'll get over it. Probably when i buy my next pair. It's a toss up between these two: Oakley Why3 in titanium - blue iridium and Oakley Juliets in polished - blue iridium. Each worth $275.00. Yup, you read right.. Two-hundred and Seventy-five dollars. Trust me... they're worth *EVERY* penny. Ever since Senior year of HS, i've had two pairs of old school Frogskins, my discontinued E-wires which i still have now... and my Fours. So yah... can you tell i love Oakley? I miss my Fours already. =( Man... people suck. Anyways... i think it's time for bed.. enough venting... if you read this much.. thanks for hearing me out. Took care of some paper work for health insurance stuffs and since Pooks and Elg came down with me, i just decided to spend the day out in Irvine. Had lunch at Islands and went to shoot pool at Zot Zone. Melody came down to shoot pool with us too since we were... DONE WITH FINALS! Hahahhahaha.... all you suckers still studying... muahhahahhah!!!!! j/k. It's all good.. it's Thursday. You're almost done! Then you can laugh with me... come-on.. say it with me now... MUAHAHHAHAHA!!!! Ok.. it's seriously late.. and i'm losing it... i'm telling Sar i'm a vampire that lives off of computer monitor radiation.... bluah! BLUAH!! At around 4pm i left for Irvine to take Kel and Sar to dinner and then watched Kel play a couple pieces with the UCI Chamber Winds. After that, it was time for the good-byes since i was kidnapping Sar and bringing her back to the ghettoness in which we call our home-town. That was pretty much my whole day... and i hear an owl somewhere outside. Weird. Anyways... i think i'm gonna hit the sack early tonite. I'm pretty tired, but i have *A LOT* of math to do. I'm so lost at this point... School busrts my bubble. Actually, school always bursts my bubble. Just when i think i can sit back and breathe, something else comes and knocks the wind outta me. What is it this time? Finals. Yeap... quarter system fo life, baby. Funny... just three months ago i went through the same thing. This time my finals aren't so very spaced out. Hardest ones are on Monday and Tuesday: Discrete Math and JAVA. I just want B's. That's all i want. Can i have them? Please? *Sigh* tomorrow is another day.
