I'll get back to it later... * * * * *Sunday, February 25, 2001Another week of rainy weather for me to drive to school in. I know we need the rain and all, but for me it gets really stressful. I dunno about any of you, but i've had my fair share of accidents and i don't intend on having any more anytime soon. The rain just makes that chance come just a lil closer. Take today's news reports for example: It's Sunday and there were still about 500 car accidents today. So what about rush hour on Monday?? Yikes, and i drive on two of the busiest freeways in southern california; the 605 and the 405. How ya like dem apples?? So with the added stress of taking quizzes, midterms, finals, and anything else that could be important for the class, and driving in the rain.... it's a pretty stressful day. * * * * *The college thing has it's good and bad sides. Take the neverending tests for instance. I take a lot of tests. Maybe even more than you, Damon. But they don't count for nearly as much. It seems like college students have some sort of midterm or final every freakin-A day of their freakin-A lives. Let us all hope that laziness does not get the best of me when I enroll at my UC of choice (or not...) * * * * *Friday, February 23, 2001Crap... how hard was that midterm?? Seriously... i got the test and the first thing i did was blank out. Arrgh... my eyes hurt...i'll post later. * * * * *MIDTERM TOMORROW!!!!! Well... i studied and re-did the Problem Sets about a million times, (actually about 3-4 times each) so i think i'll be ok. At least i hope i will be. Wish me luck between the times of 11am and 12 pm. That's when the test is gonna happen. =) Hope there won't be any traffic going to school tomorrow... * * * * *Thursday, February 22, 2001I hate Wednesdays. Wednesdays are my longest days going from 8am to about 7pm. Gotta wake up, drive to school, go to classes, then drive back home. Sounds ok, huh? Yah right..come to school with me for a day. Also went to a review session today for my Econ 100B Midterm that's gonna be on Friday. That review was totally useless! Waste of my time. I was getting more confused than i already was. Luckily the TA i regularly go to is the bomb. Seiji explained everything already and i guess i'll be good for the exam...provided i study my butt of tomorrow. =P *sigh* good luck to me i guess..... * * * * *Tuesday, February 20, 2001Finished my notes and reviewed them twice... wish me luck... i'm gonna try osmosis.. gnite * * * * *Yet another good three day weekend. We should have them every week. * * * * *Sunday, February 18, 2001You kno that feeling you get after you accomplish something and you're relieved that you did it? Kinda have that feeling right now. I spent most of the day typing up my own personal notes for my Race&Ethnicity midterm on Tuesday. However, i'm not done. But what i did today was a considerable accomplishment. Hehe. Lucky me i get tomorrow off. That means another day to study the rest of the books. * * * * *Saturday, February 17, 2001I guess i should be pretty happy today. I was seriously considering dropping my Managerial Accounting class since i was unsure of the outcome of my midterm grade. Today (Friday, Feb. 16) was the absolute last day i could drop the class without it showing up on my transcript. Pretty cool huh? I get 6 weeks to try it out before i decide if i like the class =) Well.. basically the test was two parts. Part one was multiple choice and matching, and part two was the math part. I got a 45.5 out of 50 for part one. That's a 91%. So in order for me to get at least a "B" on the whole midterm.. i needed a 34.5 on part two..which is a 69%. I got a 37. So basically, i got a score of 82.5 out of 100 points. I guess that's good enough to stay in the class. I'm pretty jealous of those that got perfect scores on their tests...*AHEM* Shirley..... now all i have to worry about is the final. =/ * * * * *Thursday, February 15, 2001Managerial Accounting quiz tomorrow... *sigh* * * * * *Wednesday, February 14, 2001Valentine's Day... do i really need to celebrate it? I have two sides to this quote-unquote Holiday. One being that i think this holiday is just another scam by Hallmark and Chocolate makers to give us another excuse to spend money on people. Take for example today on Ring Road at UCI, there was a vendor fair going on and practically every other booth was selling something Valentine's related. From flowers to candy, cards, and other various gifts. Speaking of flowers... they were selling single roses for $5 each. Dang... lemme get in on this! I'll cut some of mine from the back yard for free and sell them at school.. That's 100% Profit!!! Why is it that we need a special day labled on our calendar to say "I Love You" to that special someone? I dunno... if it were up to me.. i'd make Valentine's any day i felt like sharing a little love to the people i care about. Which brings me to my second issue... Valentines is cool... cuz sometimes people forget to show how much they really care about the people they care about.. whether it be friends, family, or that significant other. Washing cars is actually fun for me... having a nice clean car is good. Too bad it might rain tomorrow =P oh well... * * * * *Thursday, February 08, 2001Alright, just wanted to use this lil space to congratulate pooky finally getting a new house!!!! hahah.. now we don't have to drive all the way out there just to pick your ass up!!! * * * * *My head hurts....probably cuz all i did was watch TV today and play playstation..... got home at 1pm... got my hair cut... and sat my couch potato ass on the sofa and veged.... You now have my permission to celebrate. * * * * *if i had a nickel for everytime i said i hated school........ i think my fortune would surpass Bill Gates'. I HATE MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING!!!!! That test was pretty damn hard. Hopefully the TA likes me and gives me pity points..... * * * * *AWWWWW...YEEEAAAAA!!!!!! hehehe.. i did it! all my me self! Didn't think i knew i could understand HTML... ok.. seriously.. time to get back to studying and then sleep! * * * * *well... i guess i got the title and color down... now i just gotta work on the details... damn.. almost forgot..i have a midterm in about 9 hours... and i still need my ugly sleep...heheh =P * * * * *I HATE MIDTERMS!!! Screw Manufacturing Overhead, Direct Materials, Direct Labor and all the rest of that B.S. Yah, yah... i kno i'm gonna need this stuff when i'm out in the working world, but can't the professor teach a lil better??? oh well. My page still looks pretty ugly with this background.
